Not to digress from the subject, but I think its a bit early to judge whether or not MGA is in a state right now to abuse Groundbreaker. Evolution Charm to recur a Groundbreaker w/ Forcemage is quite nasty. Just Groundbreaker by itself w/ Forcemage is nasty.
I personally think the Groundbreaker could be quite valuable, and if I don't win one on Saturday, I'll buy four with the money I win tonight in the MEGA MILLIONS jackpot.
In Block, I totally agree about the validity of Groundbreaker. Elsewhere? I haven't been sold yet and I don't feel Primal Forcemage really justifies playing him. See the thing about this green ball lightning as opposed to the red version, is that red had Fireblast to the dome and random burn spells to finish you off post-creature onslaught. Green doesn't have that. Green has pump spells, which can easily be counteracted, in most scenarios, with removal. Yes, Primal Forcemage can cause some amazing things to happen, but playing a 2/2 for three is almost a waste of a turn when playing MGA. Sure, it can make subsequent turns amazing if you're packing a Groundbreaker in your hand or a Timbermare and maybe even an Uktabi Drake, but if you're playing the Drake, IMHO, you're playing a sub-par card to make another sub-par card (Forcemage) shine.
Maybe I'm wrong, however I just don't see the guy as great as most do.
blah, are the 2 priests the same card (the foiling is a lot different on the botom one). I like the above one better if they arent the same, but if they are, i guess i could use some horribly foiled priests, even though they are seeing less and less play as PC sees more play

Yeah, the first one is straight from Wizards' page. The other more choppy looking foiled version is what it really looks like. Sorry about that. I should have notated that.
MSS-the Magic Scholarship Series. It is usually type 2, a tournament for younger players (age 18 is the limit) prizes are scholarships and those promos for entering.
Nice choices, I think. They can't really choose something AMAZING, as they want those cards to stay pricey. Still, I do have one gripe, and it seems nobody else noticed. Look at the bottom of the card's artwork, at the horse's feet. Notice how everything is brown? If you see the original artwork, the feet are blood-soaked, and it looks, in my opinion, absolutely awesome. I was disappointed to see the printed card leave out that cool touch. It got my hopes up when I started reading, but once again they decided to censor it. I don't understand why a card like Blood Knight is censored when Macabre Waltz is not. Like they say themselves, it is objectively, and not subjectively as Blood Knight or Macabre Waltz, violent artwork that cannot be printed. Just my 2 cents.

The card is not censored, it is just how they blur the bottom of the champs cards to make the text pop a bit. There is the same brownish blurring on the bottom of all the other champs promos.
