Hey guys I bought the new previews magazine, that sollicits comic books and other hobby items for sale in 3 monthes. they are previewing a new Inquest Issue and it has Future Sight preview art of a zombified or very evil looking Cat Warrior with big dreds and a sword, looks very B/G, I dont have a scanner but if anyone does try to get the pic up it is very cool the big picture is on page 203
I am positive it is not Mirri from PC it vould be a revisited for FS but this is a Cat warrior with a skelatal looking face big flowing braids or dreds she is hilding 2 daggers with curved blades like a arabian sword and is wearing a skirt and two cups for a brazzer and the background is a snowscape but it looks like a cheesey backdrop probably not the actual art
Based on the sword design, my guess, and I use the word lightly the way things go crazy around here, but those swords and dress seem keldon to me. Mabye radha related. I say RG or RB based on the possible keldon influence and the cat mask.
I just realized. Mycoloth perfectly demonstrates the devour mechanic.

One turn later, 1/1 turds come out.

btw i did it because i could. i was bored and decided to let my little med-free spree go ahead. I am bipolar, explaining all the drama that ensued after. I have problems.

It sort of looks like Mirri il-Dal (if such a character existed). The cat warrior aspects of Mirri with the braids of Vhati. Neat art, either way.
I still think it's windgrace. male cats have nipples too. lol. It looks to be legendary and it's the only legendary cat warrior I know of so far in this storyline. They seem to have a thing about doing planeswalkers this block. Wouldn't see why not.

Sure, but this new pic clearly shows a female character. Windgrace might have nipples but unless he's had some m-t-f surgery done recently, he's male.

Ever consider that Future Sight might contain legends from Dominaria's future (and would therefore be unknown to us)? Just like TS had legends of the past and PC had legends of an alternate present.
Or perhaps this card isn't even legendary at all.

Maybe. Doesn't really mean that this is Windgrace, though.

I hope that it is the actual background for the art. I also hope that this means what I want it to mean.... The return of snow.;)

yea. I was thinking that this could be it. still seriously think it's legendary, but hey, who knows... maybe the completely extinct race of cat people (windgrace was the last of the line) will make a complete comeback. This block has been throwing a lot of curveballs eh? lol
Windgrace is also a panther, which this isn't. It doesn't look much like a mask to me, there's not any identifiable face underneath the upper jaw, although the neck is a bit long. I would say it's a cat warrior. Cavotta once posted a story about Mirri coming to Dominaria and killing a bunch of other cat warriors, and Jedit being about to show up as well. IIRC it was sort of an ominous, open-ended story; maybe this is showing how that ended up.
Purraj of Urbog perhaps? I know she's supposed to be dead, but I'm not finding any other female cat-warriors that look all dark and spooky like that.

i'm going with the "person wearing mask" hypothesis. most MTG based cat warriors are very feral and hunched looking. this looks like a human in all respects other than facially.
Maybe it's not the return of snow... It looks like a Savannah to me... check the 9th Ed Savannah Lions
ok. unless there is an image beyond the mag cover that I'm not seeing it doesn't look like a savannah. It is covered in snow and (seeing how the snow is settling in on Urborg) it is very dark in color (not a thing associated with white cards often) I'm thinking it's Black. Maybe they shifted all the creature-shapers into different colors or something
If it is new, it sounds cool. Thanks for reporting!

can't believe no one has guessed that yet. lol.
Mostly because Lord Windgrace is male.

The art precisely matches the description of present-time human denizens of Urborg from the novel. This is a human woman with feline facepaint/mask.
