We could consider the possibility that the 'Humped' creatures may in fact be 'Hunted' Creatures. It makes sense that these would be 'hunted', as providing your opponent with a free creature is some thing more of a 'hunt' related term, rather than a 'hump' related one

But it's so much fun to swing for 5 at someone and proclaim you just Humped them! Or that a huge flying Llama did...nothing worse than having a leg humped off by an enormous pissed off flying Llama...
I always liked Horrors. One of my favorite creature types(I started with Saga so that has something to do with it).
That name better be "Humped Llama". It'd be the best card ever printed.
edit: or maybe it's the Horror token that Humped the Llama! Mutilation...

that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
There is precedent for something a little different than the llama with Haunted Angel. Also, Swat kills things based on them having a low power rather then a low casting cost (Smother), but has cycling. Perhaps a non-cycling Swat? I would imagine that the cheap black kill card does not kill based on a low toughness, because that's an awful lot like a red burn spell.
EDIT: I doubt Humped anything is the real name of anything. This article http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/feature/262 mentions that the flavor team tries to avoid card names that easily spawn offensive nicknames. (I personally don't find the name offensive, but I certianly don't blame them for playing it safe.)
Maybe the art is of something that looks like a Llama rather than the creature itself being a flying llama... Then again, they did print two Phyledagriffs (sp)...
Unlikely they will make Llama a creature type...
I think the Witch is:
[Witch of the Mill] B
Creature - [Race] Witch 1, sacrifice a creature: Target player reveals the top two cards of his o her library. Choose one card. Put the chosen card in that players graveyard and the other one on top of that player's library
1/1
Yeah, you're right, that looks better. Guess I wasn't paying much attention to that one.

WarEmblem, i think ur mini-smother is like... too powerful ^^U. I mean it could pwn most WW creatures, all these new and cool Guildmagues or whatever, an other hundreds of creatures.... for B.
If it was a sorcery and couldnt kill black creatures, that would be better ^^. Althought i think it will be: B. Instant. "Destroy target creature with converted mana cost 1 or less (remember ornithopter ^^)". I think so because its more "Wizardish" xD. I know its not as good as ur's, but it allows u to kill savannah, isamaru and birds ^^
I also think the new Zombify will work like dat, but it'll cost 2BB. The other cards seem fine (and weak, especially that will witch....). But i love the green aura! ^^ (play it on a Crocodile an pwn them!)
Possibly, but the person that gave the information seemed to imply it was really powerful. Every set has one or two cards that seem broken at first, but turn out to be balanced when you actually play them.
Is it just me or is the BG guild looking very scary. At first I thougt thier ability was powerfull, but balanced. After all they still had to "topdeck" thier key spells like everybody else (unless they splash blue for gifts of course), but now we have the new imp and it is apparent that some of thier cards will allow you to mill yourself for more then one card. Gee I just milled myself for 5 and what do you know that key guild-keyword-spell was 1 of those 5 cards. Doesn't that just suck? I hope that they have given these cards adequate costs to balance thigns out, but with wizards track recored I am worried.
who else is hoping we get enough llamas to make a tribal deck????

re: neo-Smother. Why can't the card just be Smother? he said it was cheap. Well, I call 2 mana cheap. Besides, it still won't be as good in Type 2 as the original Smother was.
As for the others, nice, but not great(Though LOL at the Llama and I like the flying Zombie)

That's how to remember my name. Or, you could just read the Discworld Novels by Terry Pratchett. I recommend the second method.:)

And dear god, it's on the INTERNET! It has to be true!
...riight.
I'm still skeptical of WotC printing a Llama in a non-Un set. Perhaps "Humped Llama" is only the playtest name? Supercoolsexyfunsmart's (apologies if I got the name wrong) source could have just been laughing about the funny playtest name.
I'm not complaining at all, if it IS "Humped Llama", I shall be buying four and summarily naming each one "Tina". I'm just having a hard time beliving it...
I think for the first time I'm skeptical of one of R_E's sources. Llamas? Vedalken? Loxodons (from previous info)? But I suppose if R_E says he can be trusted...

Thank you, I was having a headache reading all that text unformatted!
The set's rumors are certainly starting to take shape, and if these are indeed actual cards then this could prove for quite an interesting block.
Is it just me or is the BG guild looking very scary. I hope that they have given these cards adequate costs to balance thigns out, but with wizards track recored I am worried.
I've heard people worried about the other guilds as well. The "mutate" ability of the Dimir guild seems to let you discard the spell to search your library for a spell with a similar cost - flooding the environment with tutors. And people are worried about the white/green mechanic of spell cost reduction by tapping creatures, calling it similar to the most broken recent mechanic, affinity. So with at least three out of the four mechanics already showing potention for being broken, I don't think it's too extreme to say that there's a chance something in this set is going to cause a stir!

EDIT: Yeah, llamas are weird. I agree with whoever said maybe the guy said "hunted" or "haunted", not "humped". And maybe it wasn't "llamas". Maybe it's a new creature type or something. If someone said "kavus" and you'd never heard that before, you might rmember it later as pretty much anything, since it's not a familiar word to recall.
A new creature type, in the next set, Ravnica: City of Guilds is ______.
My initial reaction was laughing hysterically at the thought of Llamas, flying no less. However, after being enlightened with rational posts, I will agree that maybe the llamas are playtest names:-(.
I'm getting even more excited for Ravnica knowing that Loxodons and Vedalken are making their return. It helps tie in the sets that otherwise seem unrelated.
Looking forward to more info!

Hey I remembered a few things. The flying guy is a 1/2 not a 1/1. There's an uncommon instant for 1w which gives target creature and all creatures with that color protection from any color. And yeah the llama is humped... isn't that how llamas are? Or is that camels!! Sorry I won't see him again until Sunday or Monday.
I added the cards to the partial spoiler, noting the witch would be a 1/1 since it costs one mana. The new zombify should cost 2BB otherwise it would totally obsolete the original.
And I noticed Hidden Predators makes the Llama even cooler. Your opponent may get a 4/4, but for only :symg:, so do you - every time! :smile2:

The setting seems very intriguing. First we have a Loxodon, and, now, a Vedalken? WTF? Is this place a meeting ground for all planes?
As for the llama, maybe it just looks like a llama. Maybe they're doing a cycle of monocoloured Phelddagrifs. That would be interesting.

Humped Llama - 2WW
Creature - Llama
Flying
When CARDNAME comes into play, put a 4/4 black Horror creature token under an opponent's control.
5/5
If so, not only it's a Llama, it's also INSANE!
