By the title, it makes it sound like there's going to be leaks daily from now until the set comes out. But that's not my intention - I just wanted to make the title unique so people would know which thread had the newest info. Besides, I have no idea how long the leaks will keep coming. When they stop, we'll go dry again for a while. So keep looking for info, people! Look at other Magic sites, artist webpages, auction sites, talk to shopkeepers, people who might have an inside scoop like playtesters, magazine article writers, and so on.
This is courtesy of the source who's been bringing us stuff like Convolute, Lizardman, and all the information about guild mecanics and themes (yesterday). I was calling him "anon" but since he seems to be providing information on a semi-ongoing basis, I'll refer to him as "supercoolsexyfunsmart" for now

I talked to (edited out to protect the original source) again today and I did well!! No I didnt get any chase rares sorry but he talked alot about black commons and how they would be in draft. There's a very cheap little black instant that kills any small creature which he figures will be a very high pick. He mentioned it like five times but never said the cost or the actual text. I think he knew I was paying close attention to get the info but it didnt seem like he cared! There's a 2/1 zombie for 1B which has 1U: flying. A witch for B that lets you pay a colorless and sac a creature to kill one of the top two cards of a library. An imp (i think) 1/1 flying for 3, when it damages a creature it kills it. And if the imp is in ur graveyard you can mill yourself for 5 to put it in your hand instead of drawing a card. There's a verdalken something which is a 1/4 for 4, and you pay a blue and tap to mill for 2. An aura for 1G to give trample, plus you get 2 saprolings when you play it. Saprolings are green but they're basically rotten crap so I think they're minions of the black/green guild. As you can see from these commons theres creatres of a color which can be from different guilds, and theres creatures of a guild which can be different colors. Graveyard recursion is a huge theme for the green and black guild. Dead stuff doesn't stay dead, and alive stuff doesn't stay alive. For example apparently there's an improved zombify because if you use some green when you cast it, the creature comes back bigger. A cool aspect is themes and cycles that instead of being contained in one set, actually run through a whole block like the land cycles. And finally he said there was some rare "humped" creatures. The white one is the Humped Llama (yeah, wierd) which is a 5/5 flying for 4, but your opponent gets a 4/4 horror token. Thats all I wrote down but he said other stuff, i'll drop a line later tonight if I can think of anything I forgot. I wont be seeing (edited out to protect the original source) for a couple days. Please keep my name a secret!!
... flying llamas in the city? If that's real, I'm going to collect as many as I can get, too bad they're rare! :smile2:
I see some Dimir guild cards there, some black/green guild cards there... and I like zombies.
Anywho, new zombify sounds awesome! I'm also loving the random creature types we're seeing - vedalken, imp, zombie, loxodon, witch, saproling... good times!
Ah, this color collaboration reminds me of Invasion, and that is of course always good news. With a 5/5 Llama...that just seals the deal as far as I'm concerned. Thanks again, keep it rolling in.
It sounds like there trying to find the leak, by giving out bogus info(maybe different bogus info to different people). They'll be like, oh the llame dude ya, we know who the leak is now.
After seeing Loxodon and Vedalken stuff, it makes me wonder if Ravnica will end up being a conglomoration of lots of the various tribes.
Some would even speculate that there's more than one card in Rav that rewards you for playing multiple creature types, kind of like, the opposite of what we saw in Onslaught... Interesting huh?
These 'humped' creatures sound great, there's a million ways to deal with an opponents token critter these days, and I'll pack four of those llama's at 4 cost for 5/5 flying into any deck they'll fit in.
So many new rumors, it's the best rumor week I think we've had for a long time, awesome!
okay, so wizards is pushing mill, hard. maybe it will be a playable archetype...that would be interesting and explain a few recent cards like neverending torment, jester's cap and traumatize. hmmm...

Actually the Llama is probabily a development joke/codename. I mean it could be some secret tech to find out whose the leak, but I doubt it... heh
Ravnica could be a hub for many cultures. It may also play a huge part with slave trades with other worlds.
flying llamas? i am suddenly reminded of Napoleon Dynamite... (if you don't know which line i am reffering to... watch the movie again, and if you haven't seen it yet... you seriously don't know what you are missing.)
anyways flying zombies, imp with bad return to hand cost, improved zombify, a verdalkin miller, another saproling enchantment... wait... eh?!? it seems that Loxodons are not the only Mirrodin race to make it into Ravinca... verdalkin are now in eh? and in UB too...
it seems that i, feel like saying: GOGO RAVINCA!
I'm starting to think of ravnica as Sigil (from the planescape DnD setting); One huge city full of magic which the people of all the other planes can - accidentally or deliberately - wander into through various portals.
It also, by the by, has a large group of guilds which most people are a member of one or more of.
And is it just me, or do we already know the 'flavour' of all the guilds, or can work it out?
GW: The healers and protectors. I expect to see a couple of cards which have or give pro: other guilds in this one.
U/B: The mind-controllers? They steal your thoughts and so on, anyway. Maybe these guys will have some control-magic type effects (I bet somewhere in one of the sets will be a card called 'change of alliance' or similar which will change a creatures guild type).
R/W: the warriors (by the buy - the creat called flame-something zealot is clearly called flame-fist or flaming-fist zealot). IE expect lots of combat step abilities.
G/B: The necromancers, perhaps? or, because of the insects that they seem to have, the hive? IE lots of things being killed, lots coming back to life; were I to guess a card for them, I'd bet on something like 1g/bB destroy target creature, they get a saproling. Or similar. (or maybe 1BB, destroy a dude, if you payed green, get a saproling).
Anyway, just some wild supposition from me. We can probably also guess the broad themes of some of the other guilds based on what the colours have in common.
U/R would be the 'tricksters' as that is something both colours do. R/B is fairly obvious (the 'destruction' guild). R/G is a little harder to pin down philosophically Maybe the anti-city guild? It's a theme red and green both share (the hate of artifice). U/W would be the 'order' (or control) guild.
My thoughts on the whole issue of there being tons of creature types is viewing it more from a playability standpoint as opposed to a flavour standpoint(yay for english... and me sucking) my point is that i think that wizards is probably trying to move away from the creature type theme that has been dominating for a while now (onslaught block, not so much mirrodin, then again in Kamigawa) and steer it into a new direction(color combinations). My thoughts if they made any sense, cheers y'all

That's actually not a bad suspicion at all...the llama card mechanic and ability totally sounds plausible (especially the 4/4 horror they get...a nice, simple but fun drawback), but a llama? Seriously? Hmm. It's definitely possible with the Phelddagrifs already out there, but wow.
I'm surprised no one's tried to template cards from the info...

I'm guessing that means that Ravnica will only contain lands that support the featured guilds (WR / WG / UB / BG; and I still think they should be called Guildhouses).
For the numbercrunchers that means we should reckon with multiples of four instead of multiples of five

Llama's? WTF! that improved Zombify sounds really good, as does the aura that makes saprolings... I really can't wait for more!
Now can I get a chorus of GOGO Ravnica going?

GOGO RAV!
The Zombify with a green bleed sounds great. Pretty obvious it brings the creature back with +1/+1 counters.

The skipping a draw to return a creature sounds like its going to be the mechanic for the G/B guild.:sunny:

This is going to be a very interesting set.
