The adverts for Beckett's new MtG magazine are up at several websites including starcity games. They include a cover with the new hippie art and another issue with 8.5 tails on the cover. The hippie issue appears to be issue number 1. I was wondering if any one can enhance and enlarge the image the text on the covers is almost legible

I have no doubt that this magazine would hold valuable information. I remember that an old sideboard magazine I picked up for free at the Apocalypse prerelease a long ass time ago showed some cards that were going OUT of 6th and what their replacements that were going IN 7th would be.
I am still wondering if we can get one of salvation's resident computer nerds or photo shop pros to enlarge that image. I can almost see the headline on the front page. I can tell that it ends with an exclamation mark.

too bad inquest sucks now.
beckett can't be any worse...
at least they'll have a price guide.
plus it'll be an ALL MAGIC magazine, and not 8 pages of worthwhile magic stuff, 20 pages of useless magic junk and 35 pages of other stuff.
Here's a large picture of a cover (but it says its not the actual cover). Maybe the text is accurate at least since Beckett probably did the mockups for it. I didn't see the one with a hyppie cover. Please provide a link or attachment.

I stopped buying Inquest years ago when I stopped playing so much casual Magic, since they are always so far behind on tournaments and metagames. The only thing that kept me coming back every 6 months or so was the player's guides that they had in them. I hate the guides they have now, "every Beast in Magic!", and things like that. Who uses those? Less than 10% of readers, I'm sure. Probably less.
I think Beckett will have a very difficult time making the magazine as good as the internet, which seems to be the problem lots of magazines are having nowadays. As long as they have a decent standard-only player's guide (list of all cards), I'll buy it just to check it out, since I like having a list to build decks from while I'm not necessarily in front of a computer. If the player's guide has all Magic cards, I'll probably buy it too, just to look through for the memories. I guess as long as it has a player's guide and at least some tournament-style decklists and information, I'll give it a go.
Sideboard Magazine was the best Magic magazine ever, so I'll be happy if it comes even close to it. 8^)

Forever known, whenever said, ancient rhyme, forgotten dead.
However, I do have a BIG complaint with them so far this year. They have cut out the price guides, don't do combos for Magic, and skipped the preview for SOK. My subscription is now semi worthless.
Inquest, if you are reading this, change your ways. You are losing all of your dedicated readers for 5 years+.
Anyway...
P.S. I am subscribed to Beckett as of two days ago.

How is this relevant?

Or they could just have the pic on the cover, and that's all.
