death of a thousand stings is cool but way too overcosted. choice of damnations i like, but i dont know if i can use it anywhere. are we missign haste on the footsteps of the goryo card??? otherwise its pretty limited. Kuon ogre ascendant is neat, he might find some uses. maga trator to mortals is a cool idea but i think its overcosted. for a 3/3 and 3 damage you have to pay 6...now if he had fear...then hed be better. sigh, a bunch more meh stuff.
Both of those spells that return to your hand from the yard are quite interesting. I get the feeling they're going to be used, not to for their intended effect, but instead to be discarded from hand for other reasons.
I really like that, with a bit of work, you can get the opponents hand size down to Zero :P. Not at all economical, but still pretty darn cool.
The Infernal Kirin is a Monster. A game winner of the most vile form. It's a very good 4 coster, and then wins you the mirror match. Consider it against white weenie. The next wicked akuba, or thief of hope you play may well rid them of a good hand worth of cards. Even a Sickening Shoal does quite the deal with it. Anything that turns the Shoal into removal AND discard of all two drops sounds like a Spike play to me.
Choice of Damnations - 5B
Sorcery - Arcane
Target opponent chooses a number. You may have that player lose that much life. If you don't, that player sacrifices all but that many permanents.
Wow. I love this card. It eaither practically kills them or clears their board. Take a lot of time to think if this is played on you.

Very cool card that forces interesting interactions between the players. The choice of what number to pick will be fun to watch. Expensive for the life loss, but the mass wipe-out is cool for six mana.
Death Denied - XBB

Sorcery
Target player sacrifices a creature with converted mana cost 3 or less.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have more cards in hand than each opponent, you may return Exile into Darkness from your graveyard to your hand.
The thing about edicts is that the opponent always sacrifices his worst guy (usually a cheap one). So the restriction on this is moot. Recurring it is interesting, even at that price.
Footsteps of the Goryo - 2B
Sorcery - Arcane
Return target creature card from your graveyard to play. Sacrifice that creature at end of turn.
Awful lot of bouncing back from the graveyard in this block, huh? Wait, no haste granted by this? I guess you use it during your opponent's end of turn or whatever.

I like choice of damnation and pains reward, choice is absolutely evil and reward can be nice card draw for black. Hand of cruelty is a great replacement for black knight and is sure to go in any almost any black deck to help with WW. The flip ogre kuon is great, its relatively easy to flip and becomes an abyss style enchantment.
I love the flavor of death of a thousand stings too.
Heh, like the ditch-the-stings trick. If cards like Jushi Apprentice weren't around, I suppose you could have a U/B control that pitches this and loots. Once you've got it back once after a looter, you're likely to be ahead on cards.
What?? How does that work at all??? Also i noted that people still like the one turn reanimator(footsteps of the goryo) and im still waiting for a way it could be used. NO haste! NO instant! Also i kinda like maga if used with sweep and that snake that flips into an enchantment you could really make him huge. eh hes not that great but its still cool.
