so, the real question is...what do we do with this list of words and number of occurences? assuming we find out every word from the orb, how would we go about putting together a spoiler from that? seems like it would be an insurmountable task.

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
It won't be an impossible task. We can begin to speculate based on key words and interesting abilities + a little flavor work + a little help from WotC. For instance if they release a pic of what we assume to be Kirin, we can look at it and be like "thats a big flaming horse squashing a lot of soldiers....maybe it has haste and trample?" or similar conejctures like this. Granted we won't be dead on, but we can start forming some basic ideas a lot quicker.

Thanks @ R&Doom at "Ye Olde Sig and Avatar Shoppe" for the banner.
Not sure if anyone has been smart enough to catch this yet, but with all the speculation about the 4 "onto" and 8 "splice"... each splice card says splice twice. It says splice into arcane, and then in the reminder text it says "... pay its splice cost..." So there will only be four splice cards. That makes me sad =(
Yeah, I suppose we should start ocmpiling that sort of information too, now. I just updated my lsit through post 525. But I just found another one:

Hopefully tonight's vignette will have a couple characters for us.
Meloku v35.0, more like. There's never been an expansion that didn't include a card that made token creatures in some way.
Planeshift had two, before that Urza's Destiny had 2. Urza's Legacy, Ice Age and the Dark had only 1. The portal and starter sets, and 7th edition didn't include token-mentioning cards.
Anyway, from Apocalypse forward, each expansion has featured at least 4 cards that dealt with tokens somehow...
Pretty much, yes. Affinity was worse after Darksteel, but even just with Mirrodin it never had a problem making T1 Frogmites and turn 3 7/7 Broodstars. "Plow Under to give your 8/8 flyer -1/-1 for a turn" just isn't as impressive somehow.
No, Broodstar Affinity was always bad and never ever broken. The real brokenness before Darksteel was Suicide Affinity otherwise known as Broken Frog. It just used cards like Atog and Disciple along with a non-broodstar, non-counter Affinity build (that did have a full compliment of Somber Hoverguard). It could and would essentially get all the broken "I win" Turbo hands only it was a scotche less consistant (thusly the absolute need to ban all the artifact lands along with Disciple and Ravager). Nobody was ever scared of Broodstar Affinity because of its shortcomings: inconsistant, expensive, and 90% of the time just plain slow.
Anyways, other than that dissertation on 2 year old Type 2, does anyone see anything in a way to break off Mono-U?
Forgot to ask: can anyone put up a complete list of all the important characters in the Kawigama world? They themselves might be dead but it doesn't hurt to check around for their posessions (equip came up 15 times) or their signature spells.
While Reading the story on the first of the Saviors, I came up with the following hits.
Kataki - 1
War's - 1
Wage - 1
Gentleman, I present to you Kataki, War's Wage
"The kami was over twice my height, made of weapons and bound in armor. Where its arms would be instead sinister blades rattled. Its legs were made of clusters of crossbow quarrels. Beneath its ebon helmet twitched needle-thin, daggers, and from behind its helmet rose the tips of pole arms. A harsh radiance moved behind the eyes of its mask. Around the spirit danced throwing crescents, each crescent burning with the same unearthly radiance, and each dripping with the blood of my fellow villagers."
I would assume he is red (rage), but white is a possibility for vengeance.
There is a chance that the boy which runs from Kataki is also a prominent character, but who knows.

Sorry, but States and other tournaments' results from back them prove otherwise. The most popular deck was UW Control, with Broodstar affinity following closely. Take a look at WotC's Tournament Center.
zubera appearing 7 times seems a little odds ... since of the first 5 they contain zubera 4 times a piece...... so my guess is that if we have 5 or so they won't have zubera in their name and probably not the same ability .... plus i'm guessing we get an artifact that gives us zubera tokens
I'm guessing Zubera counters from an enchantment or artifact.
All 7 instances?
It will be cool if we have a new cycle of zuberas, hopefully a rare one. Doesn't seem possible though, because on CHK's cycle the word "zubera" appears at least four times per card.
Well, that would make sense if we got maybe an Artifact Creature Zubera accounting for four occurances and an enchantment affecting Zuberas or making Zubera tokens for the remaining three. Seems plausible. No?
