Here's an odd question: Are any of the masks Sakashima has the faces of creatures we've already seen? Wizards loves hiding little things like that in their artwork, I'm wondering if this is such a case.

I can't recognize any of those mask, perhaps this time WOTC didn't make any puzzle
Damn my parents for not letting me go to the Louisville PR!? >< That wasn't my main reson for going up of course, I just bring it up b/c rk post is the guest artist T_T
What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
Each of the masks has a little circle with a symbol on the forehead...is it just me or do those look like expansion symbols? perhaps each of the masks is a creature from that expansion?

"Here only miracles. Here, only the rising of spirit. And yes, love if it was pertinent (which it was so often); and sometimes bloodletting. But never the prosaic, never the trivial. Here the man who brought the strangest tale was the most welcome. Here every excess was celebrated if it brought visions, and every vision analyzed for the hints it held to the nature of the Everlasting." - Clive Barker's Imajica
Over at news they are saying he is a Legendary creatrue - human Shapeshifter So probably has a Volrath`s shapeshifter-like abbility but can also target opponents graveyard. looks black even though the ability is blue well maybe color wheel shift?!?! Comments?
Volrath's Shapeshifter depends on graveyard order, and graveyard order no longer matters.
if it has anything to do with the graveyard and Reanimator becomes better then we may see a Splashin of white. on the other hand I just switched the wallpaper on my 3 computers today....

But the colours of the picture do not dictate that it is blue. They said that the colours of the artwork would reflect the colour of the card. The dark hues of black and red clearly dictate that it's black or red.

You mean the dark black and red scheme similar to the one in this card?

The skull he/she's holding in their left hand looks like the Homelands symbol on its forehead. Interesting. Maybe the skull of an Anaba minotaur?
