doesn't that technically make it better than the original is straight fight?
strange of WotC don't you think?
not complaining though! good weenie!
Agreed, technically better, in most circumstances, although, versus a 6/1 critter, this guy would bite it, where as White knight fights on.
I must say with that small issue aside, these are some really nice cards, nothing particularly powerful, just a delicate mix of all things balanced, and all things balanced makes for some great limited AND constructed play.
I really can't wait to see what tomorrow and the weekend brings us in the way of Saviors cards, as Product is shipping out to stores for PR tourneys as we speak! Where's Cok_spoiler when you need him huh?
*Hydro's fingers are crossed for sweet Saviors goodies tomorrow*
The blue flippper might just empower extended affinity if it finds a slot, by giving it an easy way to control any comebacks a player might have...

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
The evil man inside me wonders if the blue flipper could make an impact on t1, considering it shouldnt be hard to flip it in that format.
First turn blue flipper could ruin decks, and ruins force of wills pretty nicely.

Correct me if i am wrong.
Dunno if anybody sayd it, but O.o this will stop Epic decks (when sombody is going to build them). Possible sideboard card(or even more) when some epic spells are going to be to good .
I don't think it will stop epic spells from repeating. The repeating effects of the epic spells are not played, they are placed directly on the stack, assuming we have epic correctly defined.

I believe this is right. Although, since they will be on the stack, you will be able to counter them with, say Hinder.
Thanks, Akarat, but I figured out how to flip it in Paint.
Right now, I'm hitting a small stumbling block, but the first part says, 'each opponent, each turn', so I think this might be Alongi's preview cards next week.
Basically, if the rest of the card was translated right, this spell counters the first spell each opponent plays each turn. Still working.
All right, the translation is complete except for one crucial word.
Basically, it says 'Each turn, for each opponent, counter [xxx] spell played.' That's a very rough translation, of course, but it has one kanji compound that I simply can't look up in my dictionary, and it's describing the spell countered. It's not ichiban, 'first', but it may be a card type.
I'm still trying on this, but this is aggravating in the extreme.
seems like a cool card...decks could defenitely build around it...maybe control will be back soon

Demon’s Horn has a reputation in multiplayer games, Lursen said.“Usually if somebody in multiplayer plays a Demon’s Horn, we all just immediately attack that person, because he’s going to win,” Lursen said.
Hrm. Trying to translate the 'White Samurai's' flavor text. It reads something like:
"The sword is just the tool. The shouldering of life is the samurai's hand."
That second sentence is rather transliteral, but I think the meaning is that of the source of his power. I'm presuming he's responding to the 'Black Samurai'.
Just mention my name, and I'll appear.
Oh wait - I'm reading every thread.
It's more like just mention my name, and I'll be bothered to post.
And it'll not be before Tuesday, I suspect.
Ahh, my mysterious friend glad to know you're among us once again!
Tuesday ay? Well, I very much look forward to seeing what you have in store for us then.

I'm really enjoying what we've seen thus far from Saviors, and it's great to know our international sources (MEGANE) still have the goods, even if mainstays like Scrye and Inquest got left in the dark this time around. What an interesting and unusual rumor season it has been for all.
Ive seen MUC nowadays...not a bad deck especially with the power of vedalken shackles..ive also seen MUC get raped by a janky 5cc deck called zu-zu the great being developped by mike long and dave price i believe. im not saying the deck is bad. it is powerful. there are too many things for it to counter from plow unders to boils and so on and so forth. maybe i just havent played enough type ttwo though...mostly an extended or legacy player here.

That word... I do not think it means what you think it means.
Or spells for that matter, but I'm not a spelling Nazi, I'm a meaning Nazi!

So, yeah, it says "Counter the first spell each opponent plays each turn."
OUCH.
