Asking people to remove quotes in their signatures is tyranny! If I can't say something just because someone's feelings are hurt then no one would ever be able to say anything! Political correctness is stupid.
"The Genju are a six card cycle in Betrayers of Kamigawa that represent the spirits of the lands coming to life as monstrous creatures. When one of these spirits is killed in battle, it simply relocates to a new land of the appropriate type and proceeds to animate that. And as you can see from the card above, this is no wimpy tree spirit. This is the whole forest, rising up and wiping out everything in its path."
Well, my guess was right.... but no trample?
Oh well. It's still pretty good.

I wonder if the 6th genju could be the gold card that Scrye mentioned.
Also, no real need for half a dozen people to post the image. The card text would suffice, and even that's not really necessary. If people can access this forum, they surely can and will be reading mtg.com as well.

I am willing to bet my collection that Frozen and Solid are not on the same card. For example, Frozen Tomb and Solid Wall.
If Frozen Solid is not reprinted, you are aware that I'm quoting you in my sig for eternity?
I collect: Vedalken Heretic, Lorescale Coatl, Reaper King, Worldslayer, Woodwraith Corrupter, Lorthos, the Tidemaker. Soon to collect Conquering Manticore.
I demanded a Manticore, and Wizards delivered. I now demand a Chimaera. The REAL one, not, Chimeric items. I also demand a new Gorgon. And more Manticores please.
it is a possiblity since it would embody the spirit of ALL the lands.... plus an enchantment cant be colorless so unless they made2 for 1 color it should be gold
This card is really good, even without trample. For me, it'll be a 2nd pick most likely in a draft. And another comment found in the article, that MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE, as Paul Sottosanti said in that article:
There's a card in the set that almost died at numerous points because it carried with it the possibility of first turn kills in Standard, but it narrowly survived and still exists today.
I would imagine it would be a genju of either legendary lands or of nonbasic lands. What color it would be, well, I can only speculate that it would at least be part green.
On the pic of Genju of the Fens, you can see a quote mark where the text "B: This creatures gets +1/+1 until end of turn" most likely starts. However, if you look at Genju of the Cedars, there is way to much room for just "... Spirit creature with" before that, considering you just change Forest to Swamp and green to black. I'm thinking there's text on there we haven't been told of/haven't thought of yet... possibly we are missing the words "fear and"?
Does anyone see what I'm talking about or am I just crazy?

A card nicknamed “Plan B” entered development at four mana and made brief stops at six, seven, and eight mana before going to ten due to the efforts of a couple determined playtesters
There's a card in the set that almost died at numerous points because it carried with it the possibility of first turn kills in Standard, but it narrowly survived and still exists today.
The development team, having decided to commit to actually making White Weenie good, added Armageddon as a White rare, but it only lasted a week and a half before negative feedback from playtesters forced it out of the set.

EHH?!?!
the turn one thing has already been pointed out. 2 Blazing Shoals with big creatures on a raging goblin or a spark elemental = game over
I really like the green genju, and I don't mind it not having trample - that would just be too much for the cost... but a six card cycle? Hmm.. wonder what the last one is...
I think that the 6th is most likely a enchant legendary land and is probably in green(the colour of land animation). The card with possible 1st turn kills in standard is most likely blazing shoal, there's a thread about the possibility in the rumoured cards section.
Personally i think that dispite the lack of trample anything that can beat for 4 on the 3rd turn is pretty good and will be at least a medium high pick in limited.
When will R&D learn that trample is the one thing that makes big creatures and green good.
As it is he is fine as a 4/4, but heck look at the man-lands, Tree-top is the best because it has trample. Compare 3/3 trample to 4/4. (outside of fighting each other) which do you think would be better most of the time? The one that trips over Orochi Eggwatcher tokens? or the one that still does some damage too?
Guess i can't complain too much....

AFI, I wondered what the sixth one is too.

Five basic lands, then...what could the sixth be? Non-basic lands? *doesn't know*
4/4 vanilla seems about right compared to the others (6/1, 3/2 w/Flying, etc.). 4/2 or 4/3 w/Trample would have been interesting, though

Blazing Shoal?
This better be false, or all hope is loss for WW

it might be true, but it just means there going to have to be more imaginative about how to reprint armageddon
Also, you gotta wonder what genius tried to push sway the stars in at 4 mana.
