Bigger versions of art we have, thanks. The first one has the same teeth of the Genju's, but someone mentioned that it might be the Orochi Patron. Will be interesting to see what these turn out to be.:p
Actually, I think it kinda is gold colored. It's just there's so much blue around it and its really shadowed. If you look at the top of it, the part in the light, it looks like it could be golden. If that's the case, this looks like it may very well be O-Kagachi.
What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
My money's on the samurai being Toshi, the protagonist from the CHK book. He has all the signs--ratty clothing from being in a lot of CHK's battles and living as a hermit at the end. On, and arms totally screaming "I CUT MYSELF THE NUMB THE PAIN!!!!1one" Yeah, that's Toshi, alright. And I'll bet the little hanging things are the artist's interpretation of how Toshi does some of his Kanji magic. Don't forget that Toshi was definitely a super swordsman in addition to being a Kanji mage.
And Toshi would have to be a black character (or part black in case he's gold.) In that case, the darkness of the lower half fits in with WotC's art style for card art sharing a color with its spell color.
I don't think that's Toshi. The creature in that picture, although it does look to be black, doesn't look like a legendary type of creature to me. I think the character from the second book cover is more likely Toshi.
EDIT: Actually, now that several details on the second picture have been pointed out, I can see why some people say that it could be green. I personally think he's black, but he could be green.
The samurai-dude, just looks green to me. He's got elk-horns at his waist, I'm pretty sure those are tree branches on his chest (look at how they sort of grow into eachother) and of course he's in a forest. So, maybe he's a green samurai.
Well what I believe O-kagashi SHOULD be isn't very likely due to the fact that R_E said there weren't going to be any gold cards in the set.
Note that this is due to a semi-popular theory that I've supported before ChK came out and I ever heard the name O-kagashi.

I do not think that this is O-Kagachi. Look, there is no picture...and no card....of Gaea or Yawgmoth (well, except The Thran nover cover for Yawgie as a living man). And O-Kagachi is for Kamigawa something like Gaea for Dominaria, and Yawgmoth for Phyrexia. It could be some lesser aspect of him. But I must admit that if O-Kagachi chooses to manifest himself, this is probably how he'll look like.
Sadly, I do not think that this could be the Patron of the Orochi either...it looks too blue for me.

The left one looks rather interesting... Seems blue-ish and somewhat a beefy creature...
The right picture is unimpressive... It's a guy wearing goofy armor and probably a legend... Legend = Stupid name, useless ability, no mention in storyline...
I think the first pick is 1000000% probably a Leviathan type creature, which is good cos blue used to always get one huge creature(usually unplayable but cool none the less) and it hasn't happened in a while now...

A leviathan is biblical, which would be rather out of place in an Asian theme... It's probably going to be a legendary dragon with a stupid name...
I bet it's going to be called "Kamiyokomokopopo, the Lotus Katana" :whatever:
he doesn't really have armour like the other samurai so far but he doesn't really look like a monk to me either

I've pretty much ruled out that it could be the Orochi Patron, it's just TOO big....
