Hey, I just realized there are several cards that contain double spaces in their text. Hopefully this isn't indicative of any larger problems. Daru Stinger is one of these cards, it has a double space between "each" and "Soldier".
Since mtgimage.com is no longer live, how you get images for the cards? At the moment I'm considering just pulling them off gatherer and storing them locally, but I'm wondering if there are any alternatives.
Just a heads up; the way double-faced cards appear in packs in SOI is different than in the original Innistrad block. Every pack has a common or uncommon DFC that replaces a common. 1 in 8 packs has a Rare or Mythic Rare DFC that replaces another common (in addition to the Common/Uncommon DFC). With that in mind, the "booster" field should look something like this:
I'm trying to use this really useful tool for a Java project of mine, but I seem to be getting a 403 forbidden error when my project tries to connect to it. Is that intentional? This happens when just checking the version information, before downloading anything else.
Also, I think the newest version of this is missing the back side of the Prerelease Events Nissa, Vastwood Seer. At least, when I load it into my program it doesn't see it.
Edit: Just discovered that this is true of the other flip 'walkers in Prerelease Events as well.
I needed the data for my website a few days ago so I made a script to produce a light version of mtgjson file for Conspiracy 2. Since I don't need all the extras from mtgjson, I only scrap the list page from the Gatherer. Therefore only the data present in that page is in the json (no text, flavor, artist, imageName, etc.).
Does anyone have a "structure" that can be used to properly parse the "Booster" field in the AllSetsArray data?
An array of "strings or arrays of strings" doesn't seem to be a valid datatype, and json checkers seem to "barf"
on the Booster data
With the release of KLD, token creation templating has changed. This has changed a lot of cards' Gatherer texts, but these changes haven't been reflected in MTGJSON. Are all card texts supposed to be updated with each version? When will this change be made?
