MTG Salvation

I can't remember exactly what I did before the problem happened, but it started a couple of days ago.

In the area where there would normally be the list of just about every card ever, MWS only lists the cards from my Cruel Control deck. Even when I switch to another deck, the only cards that I can choose to add are the ones from Cruel Control.

I think this is probably a simple problem, where I switched on the wrong filter or something like that, but it's very problematic. Can somebody please tell me how to switch back to the list of every card?

After installing all the HQ pics, I can see the pics when standing on a card name in the "library" window of deck editor \ library mode.

BUT....when I drag\move a card into the deck list window, If I stand on that card, It does not show the pic. Only some blank brown fake card template.

I tried many things, like, when I click "save card image as jpeg" on a card in the library window, I can save it to a file. If I do the same on the same card when its in the decklist window, I get an error saying: (IMAGE FILE NOT FOUND ON DISK).

So...what the hell ? my pics folder is set up right since I AM seeing the pics for cards...but only on the search window.
I'm trying to print proxies but since the cards inside the decklist window dont show pictures I cannot print proxies from them....

I've been fighting this for 2 hours and can't find whats wrong...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What do you mean by stand? Maybe you should try to reinstall MWS.

So I messed up MWS somehow and now I cant play it.
I want to assume it has something to do with me deleting my old backup masterbase since I downloaded the updated masterbase with M10. I dont know why its being annoying considering the backup wasnt set as the main or anything it was just there.

So my question is this, is there a way that I can re-install MWS without losing my decks? I took them out the main MWS folder and they are just sitting around on my desktop but I know thats not going to stop them from getting removed when it uninstalls.

Has anyone noticed the mwsplay and mwsgames servers have been down/laggy/unconnectable for almost a month now? Anyone know what is going on with that?

Ok, here's the idea. I'm using vista and when you uninstall MWS itself it still leaves the virtual files behind. What you need to do is (Make sure hidden folders are viewable) go to Username\AppData\local\VirtualStore\Program Files and delete the Magic Workstation files before reinstalling.

"File structure is invalid. Load cancelled" Its the only thing MWS says to me when I try and import a list of card names from a txt file. Am I doing something wrong help please

I am trying to change the theme of my MWS program on my new Windows Vista Home Premium Computer. The problem is, everytime I try to change the main theme, the MWS program suddenly decides to crash, and the next time I load the program, the theme has NOT changed. So the question is, what is the matter?

And yes, I have tried running MWS as the administrator.

The crashing theme problem is common so I answer this question all the time. Google, why hast thou forsaken me?

You can also try deleting the Sample.mwSet file found in the C:\Program Files\Magic Workstation\Custom Sets folder.

I just got MWS and I need to learn how to put the new masterbase into Magic Workstation itself.
I will need step by step help probably because I am computer challenged.

I just figured out how to update it, luckily, but now when I try to make a deck, it won't let me add certain cards such as Ajani Vengeant. If anybody else has been having similar problems, please help.

I've got a pretty weird problem. Somehow I got rid of my masterbase (even though it was in the folder). Well, I've got my library set up again and tried making a new deck. When I try to go online or even solo mode, it doesnt let me. It shows the deck screen you see when you start a new game/sideboarding and its completely empty. When I click on Load Deck and select the deck (or any deck for that matter) it says Load Deck Error: Invalid file format. I am 100% stumped.

i recently started using MWS. i cant figure out how to download new sets like M10 and ARB. i was wondering if any one could enlighten me?

i really want to terst stuff

I just cannot get MWS to load up, I have to reinstall, and then load the base on the spot to to get it to run, anyone encoountered anything like that? any ideas?

That happened to me once but when that happened to me it was because of a deck error. So are you sure that other decks don't work?

i recently started using MWS. i installed it right b4 m10 came out, and till can't figurte out how to download new sets....can anyone enlighten me?

I am having problems with using M10 cards in MWS. The M10 cards are all loaded in MWS and work fine for making decks, but when ever I load a deck that has any M10 cards in it into MWS online, I get the error message, "Load Deck Error: Invalid file format. But if I remove all M10 cards from the deck and load it into MWS online it works fine. I propery installed the M10 cards, I don't understand whats causing the problem, I would like help in solving it, as its very annoying. By the way my computer's Operating system is Windows Vista.

So, I have my newly updated MWS ready to go, and I'm trying to add Elvish Archdruid to my deck. Fine enough, I can save and such. Now I go to test it...and it doesn't work. "Load deck error: Invalid file format." Seeing "solutions" online, I have downloaded numerous patches/updates, placed MWS in C://Magic Workstation and still nothing. Please, what is wrong?

Is anyone else having trouble connecting? I keep getting the L0001 error but it says the server is up online.

hello, I am having trouble running under 64 bit ubuntu. It loads fine, but when i go to play any type of match, there are graphics missing and the cards are upside down! weird. ANY ideas?!?!?
