MTG Salvation

Hey guys. I got to work on three and a half hours of sleep, petered out before I punched in, then saw that we pretty much were in the home stretch. As much as I would have enjoyed indulging you guys with the spoiler at work, I do have to take care of those things, so I needed to take care of it tonight. The current update has been set; enjoy.

When I try to generate a sealed deck w RTR I keep getting "error reading text label lines: invalid window handle". I don't know how to het it to work.

I can't find Azorious Keyrune. It was spoiled as card #225/274 but the Update patch (265/274) doesn't seem to include this card. Can I add it manually?

Do not use this file. You have errors in it that cause MWS to crash and burn hard. Had to reinstall the MTG gamepack in order for MWS to even open again.

You can wait for others, but no it doesn't. I'm working on the netdraft .nd file as well atm. You guys can wait for that, if I'm allowed to post that here.

Doom's Patch seems to work. When I first loaded it, mws crashed twice when I would open it then try to switch to deck edit veiw, but then I tried opening it, loading a new deck, then switching modes and its works fine.

I tried to reinstall MWS, which works fine until I install the masterbase and it gives me the 'sets.dat not initialized' error. I literally purged the entire program from my system, and I'm using well-known masterbases like this one and this one.

EDIT:
For whatever reason, running MWS as administrator opens it, but when I try to switch the theme from default to new, it crashes.

Download my patch. Open MWS. Click Tools>Analyze/Add/Remove Sets.

Click the 'Add New Edition' button. In Edition Name, type Return to Ravnica. In Edition Key, type RTR. Click the check box in Get data text from spoiler, and in the path to spoiler box: link it to the patch you downloaded. Click, next, next. And done.

I'm just trying to open MWS at this point and get it back to how it was before. Rising Star's patch seems to have destroyed my MWS.

I updated the netdraft site with my RTR .nd file. The .ord for organizing packs is on the way and should be up shortly.

When I try to generate a sealed deck with any combination of expansions/boosters it gives me this error: "Error reading TextLabel.Lines.Strings: System Error. Code: 1400." Then I restore the Masterbase and Data files and it worked again.. So I think there's still something wrong with the patch...

Doom, your file has tons of typos/errors and inconsistencies, like some of the mythics being listed as M while others R, "Undying" instead of "Unleash" on one card, etc. I can go through and comb all the errors when I'm less exhausted. Most of the typos on the card text won't matter once the pics are out, but it's still better to have accurate information

I appreciate that. I took someone else's file and just did what the lazy people didn't want to do. Add cards, and number the cards correctly. I will sift through the list tonight, correct the errors and re-post. Thanks.

Tentatively completed v1.0 of this patch. Any errors, you let me know. I'm surprised I fit it in under the file size limit.

MWS fetches it's data from gatherer and the block isn't up on the site yet. Therefore you will not be able to generate packs or sealed decks yet. The best way to generate your own sealed deck would be to download netdraft here: http://netdraft.wikispaces.com/newset

I included the current RTR .nd file in the Netdraft download so you can just generate 6 packs of RTR then draft all the cards by yourself, build your deck and voila! You're owned sealed.

could someone just upload the updated version of the masterbase with rtr ? Cause the patch crashed my mws too and I lost it all... Thanks for your work anyway !

i tried to install return to ravnica patch but there was an error occured and i had to close the program
now when i try to open MWS i have en error message asking me to reinstall MWS which i had done 3 times but always the same (critical error File C program file(86x)/magicworkstation/data/sets.dat not initialized. reinstall MWS)

what can i do??
