I would love to understand how to use this patch. You people post it, but you explain nothing about how to make it work... I don't even see a way to download this file into my folder so the masterbase can get updated... Can someone explain the steps for making it work!?
Click the link for the text file, download it to what ever folder you want, as long as you can remember where you put it. Next, load MWS, click Tools -> Add/Remove/Analyze, click the Add Set option, type in Gatecrash for the set name, GTC for the set initials, check the box to import from a text spoiler, then click the folder icon at the end of the next text box, navigate to your text file, double click it, then when you're back on the import window, click Next. Check the "No starter pack" option, then click Finish. Save the master base. MWS will have some issues if you try using the set immediately. Restart MWS so certain changes can be loaded which fix the aforementioned issues (such as not being able to use GTC boosters when generating sealed pools).
Edit: If you have any issues with this, post here, I'll see if I can help you get past them. The instructions are by memory, as I've booted onto my Linux distro, so no MWS atm.

There's an advantage to using patches, as opposed to waiting relying on a specific entity to get the work done. Specifically, speed. You can wait for one person/group to get their official patch out, or you can wait for the first person to get a working patch out, and have the new set ready and usable that much sooner. Currently, it would take me no more than 10 minutes of locating a full text spoiler, to create a fully working patch. While your EasyInstall looks nice, using it means I'm still reliant on just you. Learning how to patch it yourself means just waiting for the first person, anyone at all, to make a successful patch.

Use the package EasyInstall not mean that in the future you can not import a spoiler ... mean only that using the package (and its frequent updates) you can be sure that there will have problems with the new updates.
Furthermore, import the spoiler GTC does not update the other cards, mainly promotional (FNM, Gateway, Game Day etc ...)
As I said, the EasyInstall is to facilitate not to limit the use;-)
Many thanks to you and all who helped for your efforts and time.
