Under the assumption that we get the full spoiler in about four and a half hours (Wednesday prior to prerelease, midnight EST), that will be when I next update this patch.

99% of errors when adding a new patch are a result of not following the instructions on page 1 TO THE LETTER. The instructions are in the "general information" spoiler tag.
If you install it improperly once, you should reinstall the masterbase and sets.dat otherwise you can get weird errors.
Also note that if you install it now, and there are typo fixes later, you should manually edit those in. The remove set function is buggy and will cause problems eventually if you use it.

Unfortunately, the set does not seem to exist in my filters and I can't generate MBS boosters or filter for cards solely from MBS. However, when I filter the format to standard; it is there. How do I solve this or did I do anything wrong when I added the set?
I noticed a few typos in some of the cards...
Concussive Blast should be Concussive Bolt
Creeping Corrosion is slightly misspelled...missing the second 'o'
Gust-Skimmer is missing its hyphen...not sure if anybody cares

The text spoiler is rather simple. If when you added the set, it said "# cards successfully added" then the text spoiler was formatted correctly.

This is a classic error caused by not following the instructions. Even if it sounds silly, or like something that shouldn't matter, you still have to do it. If you didn't backup your master.mwbase and sets.dat you'll need to reinstall the game pack and try to add MBS again.
yes i have the debug error as well ive tried on 3 different computers 2 windows xp and 1 vista when it opens after giving the error the library is empty but i can still opoen decks and play them . also i can do sealeds but i cant use the library to add lands it must be something with the patch since ive tried several computers and reinstalled several times.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
After having installed the MBS patch whenever I attempt to add cards to a deck after about 5 seconds I'll get an error "Magic Workstation.exe has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution to this problem." Why would it do this?
I've just run the most recent patch myself (Windows 7 Home Premium), and there are no issues with Workstation or Online Play.
Again, here's the rundown, since this comes up every season.
1) Open Magic Workstation.
2) Click on the Library (either the top panel or the left panel, whichever holds your MasterBase) and Save.
3) Go to Tools -> Analyze/Add/Remove Sets.
4) Click on Add New Edition. Set Name: "Mirrodin Besieged" -- Set Key: "MBS" (both without quotation marks, of course).
5) Select "Get Data from Text Spoiler." Browse for the text file and select it.
6) Next: Set the booster packs to 1-3-10-1 (R/U/C/BL) and disable tournament packs. (Please note that these booster packs do not actually reflect real Mirrodin Besieged booster packs, nor do they reflect faction packs.)
7) Add the set. It should say 155 cards added.
8) Repeat step 2.
9) Go to Tools -> Generate Sealed Deck.
10) Attempt to generate a Mirrodin Besieged Booster Pack. It should fail (Internal generation error). Then, close Workstation and reopen it.
11) Boosters may now be generated.
11a) I tested cards from MBS in a deck (Slagstorm in the sideboard of a Pyromancer Ascension deck). Saved the file, went to MWSplay. No issues.

Is there any chance that MWS has some sort of set cap of how many cards it can hold? It seems that many people are getting this same error.
And if you're wondering, I did follow the instructions. Simply trying to add the 155 cards crashes the application. I get the pop-up saying "155 cards were added to the database" before the whole thing crashes on me. The Sets.dat file goes to 0 and I get the Debug error.
This is making me wonder if there indeed is a card limit. Menmarch, if you don't mind me asking, how many cards do you have in your master.mwbase? I just want to compare our numbers. I currently have 18,667 cards in my library before adding your patch.

I have the same problem, but I've only tried it on Windows 7.

Why?
I've had that error before, try reinstalling mws.
If you backed up the master.mwbase and sets.dat, try putting the pre-patch versions back in and adding the patch again.
If all else fails, you can have someone else send their properly updated master.mwbase and sets.dat and plug them in manually.
