Does anyone have any website links to a good Magic the Gathering card creation site? It has to be easy to use and require no Einstein or Stephen Hawkins to use...
I've looked for this, but I can't seem to find it on MiseTings. Can you post a link to it?
The "How To Create Cards: A Tutorial Sorta Thing" thread in the Events Caption and Photoshoppery forum at Misetings has all the various psd and font files there. (You'll probably have to dig through the entire 10 page thread to find everything though.)
As for card making programs, I use Photoshop and Twanvl's Set Editor. The set editor, while not as accurate as P'chop, comes in serious handy when I only have a short amount of time to create a card, such as during the FCC rounds in the Card Creation forum here.
To Zirilian-- I have tried the Magic Set Editor...real easy to use and stuff...
But I cannot seem to load my cards into attachments on mtgsalvation...I get a white screen with some message about not connecting when I attempt to attach a new card...do you experience the same problems?

You have to save the card as a jpg or bmp or other image file. I think, I'm not on my computer right now, so I can't check, that in the render card window there is a button or something that says "save card" or something, and, as I recall, it saves it as a bmp.

Yeah. The 'tings file is the best, but if you want to use MSE or MTGEditor, go with editor. I tried both, and I found that Editor allows you more freedom.
photoshop is THE program to use if you want presentational-type cards (ie you want to do anything except print out proxies of Goblin Welder). I'll post a tutorial sometime, though misetings is excellent within their how to create cards thread...its just a monstrocity to use.
MTGEditor is really bad, since you need to download all the right fonts for it, and then it formats the cards all wrong. MSE is the best if you don't want to go into Photoshopping.
