I present you a tool to buy singles on the MagicCardMarket.eu and save the most of your money:

The MagicCardWantlist

Simply start a list and add your cards. When you're done hit calculate price and it will search for the best price of card offers including shipping.

Note:
This is not just some "reduced price" (as in MCM's own shopping assistant). Compare for yourself and see the difference.

There's also a proxy generator to playtest your decklist before buying it

I've used the optimizer for quite a while and it's really nice tool. I haven't used it after it's been impossible to calculate the prices from several sellers without donating though. I know it's not free to run the server, but I'm such a poor bum myself too

After a few months of primarily bugfixing I've managed to add some feature to it.
Each list now has two print views which can be accessed by anyone (who knows the link).

The first is designed as a Decklist for tournaments.
The other is primarily a Checklist if you're heading to offline trading and buying cards.

Both views can be accessed by anyone who got the link, so you can give the links to your friends, post them in forums, etc. without anyone but you being able to modify the list.

If you need any changes with the views or the program at whole please let me know.

I've changed that today that any kind of help with this tool (not just helping to pay for the server) is accepted to become a premium user.
So if you can't or won't donate but have some spare time, send me a message.

After a week's work it's now possible to select all editions available on the magiccardmarket, including promos, old european (un-)limited and oversized cards.

Also tuned the way the all-in-one sales work.

This is a really cool tool. I usually just buy everything I need from the major vendors in the US, but I will certainly try your tool the next time I need lots of cards.

I've added Return to Ravnica today. However non-english names of the cards are not yet available in the Gatherer.

I've also changed that when a certain language is required for a card, the cardname is also given in that language if possible.

Unfortunately this isn't possible for two reasons:

1. At around 120 cards the memory of 200MB per PHP process is exhausted.
2. The calculation time is quadratic with the number of relevant offers which is loosely related to the number of cards. It can take up to several hours for 300 cards. Meanwhile some selected card offers could get sold and the whole calculation might not be valid any more.

What you can try is to split it up into multiple lists, but as it currently stands it doesn't work very well for more than 100-120 cards at once.

The solution to these problems unfortunately exceeds my spare time at this point.

Also , some sellers are supposed to be selling some cards but when i get to them theyre not, I dunno if they just sold the cards within the last minute, but that suff happens.

The program has its own price cache. Use the refetch prices button down the suggestions page to clear the prices for your list and update them.

Also, not knowing what someone is selling to me but a number (25 of 100 cards, for example) is time-devastating.

I don't understand what you refer to...
In the wholesale list the missing cards are listed in the last column.

PS: I don't get notifications if you just edit your post, so you should add a new reply to avoid being ignored.

As I mentioned earlier: The program uses a price cache. If you add a card for which no entry exists in this cache it's minimum price is shown as "N.A."
Once you use the "Calculate price" option from the purchase recommendations tab it will fetch the prices from the magiccardmarket.

That's some update gone wrong. I'm trying to fix the database corruption, but process is slow because of the sheer amount of data affected

I still need to even out some issues, but only on the price history chart. Shouldn't affect normal operation. Prices should be fixed now.

As of today Dragon's Maze is available.

Also some layout and usability fixes as well as a new Premium system

I've now added all Tokens, Schemes, Planes, Emblems and Vanguard cards to the database and moved the whole site to a bigger server.

The only remaining bottleneck is the MagicCardMarket from which I update the prices.

Because updating the prices also updates some meta-data that is required to export your list to mcm.
Just go to calculate suggestion, click on the update prices button and then return to the list view to export it to mcm and the warning should disappear.

Is this reproducible? If you change the cards back to english, does it drop to 55? What's your username and list name?

Yesterday I've added the cards from the Magic 2014 Core set.

Also a small clarification: When buying tokens for premium coupons, the shipping cost is included in the coupon value.

I'll now dedicate more time to this project again, so there will be more updates and features soon.

As of today I've started a Bug-Bounty Program awarding coupons to everyone reporting an error in the tool.

The trigger for this decision was that only by chance I found that the price history charts didn't work at all for months and nobody told me. (It's fixed now)

So if you remember some bug that always annoyed you, here's your chance to trade it's head for gold

I've added all cards from the upcoming edition "Born of the Gods" to the wantlist.

There have also been some minor fixes and improvements but in the background I'm working on greater changes.

After having passed through all the teething troubles here comes the announcement for those not already aware:

A new version of the MagicCardWantlist has been published

The most important Changes are:

• Direct and fast import from and export to MCM Wants
• The function to add suggestions to the MCM shopping cart is now much faster and verifies that all articles have been added
• Every registered user now has a private profile page. On this you can review your premium transactions and save the MCM API Key which is needed for both above functions.
• There's now an alternative calculation method using a Java Applet. For small lists it creates much cheaper results. Being a Brute-Force approach it doesn't work well for medium to large lists though.
• Revised Premium-System:
• Premium coupons are now credits and don't expire after a certain period of time.
• The maximum number of cards per list is determined by the total amount of credits
• When using the "add suggestions to shopping cart" function for calculations with a total value of 10€ or more you're charged 2% of the article value
• I will be using this Blog to inform about News on the website. It is linked to the Facebook-Page and Twitter

I've added a Translation Credits option, where you can gain credits by submitting translations.

Another major upgrade

• Added Edition Journey into Nyx
• Greatly reworked the way prices are updated to be much faster. Especially when many users are active you no longer get an error message telling to try again later
• Added more server power
• Fixed a crash in Java Applet Calculator
