Well I have no information about this thread so I am unable to make any comment.
Hold your mouse arrow over a card tag and an image of the card will pop up and depending on where you move the arrow around on the card as to what additional information it will provide you like price, ruling, prints.
I found that for whatever reason, it is not working for links that are in decklists, but working just fine in links that are in sentences or alone. Not popping up at all on any links that are enclosed in deck tags
Sorry it took so long to fix this one; I just hadn't really noticed it since I don't visit any of the forums with deck tags. Fix turned out to be simple. New Chrome version should be pushed out to users eventually. This fix plus a few other goodies (try checking out an Unglued or Unhinged card like Deadhead).
This is pretty minor, but sometimes I'm reading an article with lots of card links and the cards show up one after the other without any source of escape. Could you make it so that if I click on a blank spot on a webpage then the pop ups all go away?

Can you check the latest version (2.2.1) to see if that solves the issues? I added something on the backend that might alleviate your problem.
I have some information for those asking about Séance. The English version of the card uses an accent over the "e". The German version, does not. The add-on is working properly.
This add-on is absolutely wonderful. I love that magiccards.info is being used, as the image quality is far better than Gatherer.
Some requests for future versions:
- Support for all subdomains (*.mtgsalvation.com, *.wizards.com), supporting things like wiki.mtgsalvation.com.
- Support for mtg.wikia.com, mtgoacademy.com, mtgtop8.com.
- "Highlight" support: Select any text, then use a hotkey or other action to pull from magiccards.info.
- Automatic handling of punctuation and accents.
- Language default/override (for people who can't figure out Seance.)
- Ability to move and toggle Card view, such that it acts like the "Card Preview" window on the MTGO Beta client.
- Options:
-- pre-fetching, delays, image size, supported sites, custom sites. (I do like the streamlined version in use, but it took me a very long time to realize there are no options.)
Thanks again for the wonderful add-on... Please know that every day I thank you, and make great use of this powerful and beautiful add-on. Lovely work. Clean, fast code, available on Github, and most importantly - actively developed by someone who truly knows what they're doing.

That's good to know. I was curious as to why I'd sometimes see German and other times see English.
- Support for mtg.wikia.com, mtgoacademy.com, mtgtop8.com.
Should be doable. I'll check out how each site is doing card links. If it's identifiable enough (and it really should be) adding support shouldn't be difficult.
- "Highlight" support: Select any text, then use a hotkey or other action to pull from magiccards.info.
Already available: select some text, right-click, and choose 'Autocard <such-and-such>'. I'll look into adding hotkey support for this feature. Hopefully Chrome supports custom hotkeys.
You mean like missing punctuation? That's a difficult one. Since magiccards.info handles the card info if the card name doesn't bring up a result there then Scry is out of luck. I have noticed that magiccards.info is supporting commonly misspelled cards so it might be possible to support the redirect in Scry. This is definitely one of the things I'd like to support, but it might not be possible.

Moving the popup is already supported. It's a feature I recently included without any announcement. Right now the popup snaps back to its original position once you let go; that behavior will probably change in the next release. I didn't announce this feature because I wanted to try it out some first but not have it hold up later changes (since it doesn't break anything pushing it out even though I wasn't sure which way to take it didn't hurt anything).
- Options:
-- pre-fetching, delays, image size, supported sites, custom sites. (I do like the streamlined version in use, but it took me a very long time to realize there are no options.)
Options are something I'm hesitant to reintroduce. Scry 1.x includes a plethora of options because I tried to account for everybody's request and to work around what I call option mismatching. Some options just didn't really work well with others so there were lots of choices that only applied in specific situations. The code itself was pretty ugly with all the different options. The pre-fetch option in particular was something I never could get working the way I wanted due to JavaScript's lack of threading (web workers can't touch the DOM and Scry treats the DOM as its personal slave); turning on pre-fetching and hitting a page with lots of card links would bring the browser to its knees.
With Scry 2 I decided to go with a set of sensible options. I also wanted to avoid having an options page because those require lots of work for little gain. I have looked at adding support to turn off Scry for certain domains (and I have some rough code that partially works). Maybe once I get that working better that's an option I can easily support without an options page (prototype code does something cool).

Thank you for your compliments. Scry has definitely been a labor of love. I started it because I thought it would be useful personally and those are the best projects to work on IMO.
Thanks for the quick response. Everything you've said sounds perfectly reasonable, and I love the current (optionless) incarnation. I hope that some of my feedback was helpful.
Just discovered this add on. really good stuff and very useful, thank you! If I had to suggest one thing, it would be that the card image stays within screen edges. Right now for me it propagates from where the original link was. This often means half the card is below the edge of my screen (if the link is near the bottom of my browser). I use a netbook a lot, so the card images tend to appear quite large and more often than not I am scrolling to fit the whole thing on screen. Could there be a way to make the image show up within the dimensions of the screen? and/or to make it smaller?

The post before you mentioned how your now able to drag it around the screen instead of needing to scroll to make it fit.
I see. I have been doing that, yes. I just thought to suggest that so manually moving it might no longer be necessary. Either way, keep up the good work!

That's interesting. The code already tries to fit the card onto the screen. The default is below and slightly right of the link but will shift left and/or place the card above the link if it won't fit. I'll double check that to make sure it's handling all conditions correctly.
Thanks for the reply, Nis. Didn't realize I was the outlier here! Glad to know the feature is there--let me know if I can help test or anything. Or if you need my system specs or something. Thanks for your work!

I'm actually having this problem as well. I don't really mind it much except that it doesn't give an option to change the language manually.
