Is there anywhere to report bugs? I just got screwed in my attempt to beat Jace because the game wouldn't let me use Elvish Piper to put Simic Sky Swallower into play, claiming that the Sky Swallower couldn't be targeted, despite the fact that a) Shroud isn't active when a creature isn't on the battlefield and b) Elvish Piper doesn't target.

I actually got a deadlock yesterday. Was playing Archenemy, and the first scheme was the one with sac a creature otherwise discard two cards. But then I had to wait for the other player to discard, while he had to wait for me...
I was about to cry as I picked Thrun(!) to enter the battlefield on my side

Yes Karn is a dirty cheater.
He double mox dropped me, he also showed and telled but he dropped steel hellkite and I arrested it quickly. Then he plowed my face in with darksteel colusses after that. Round 1 goes to Karn, I will prevail, lol.
I agree with most people, Parts I don't really like about the game is how I feel about MTGO my Caw-Blade deck is sitting just right next to me and it is useless when I'm like where is the one off stoneforge mystic I need to get some argentum armors to punish with my kor outfitter to kor duelist? They gave us a sword which is nice, but it's the worst one, well body and mind, but still body and mind would be more useful in most of these matches. I mean I understand not putting in competitive decks but at the same time it would be nice if they at least put in an event level deck...
I actually bet Karn on my second game against him.
First game he had his turn 2 Colossus out, and I couldn't really do too much.
I used the Vampire deck btw. Was quite interesting, game 2 he had a turn 2 or 3 Lodestone Golem, followed up by a Wurmcoil Engine on the next turn. He got me down to 1 life, but then I ended up lifelinking it all back up.
But Karns deck sure has a high powerlevel, I mean he had 4 moxes out against me >_>
I like how this game blatantly cheats, especially in Archenemy mode.
They pull a scheme that says draw 4 cards, and then it draws 7.
I had some random times where I drew an extra card for no reason.
There certainly are quite a few really awful game breaking bugs.
One of the worst is cards like Etherium Sculptor or Ruby Medallion not working at all for the player, but the enemy has them work properly.

He got T2 colossus against me also game 1! I was playing with gideon and then game 2 I got a turn 5 kill after him playing literally zero spells. Was an interesting turn around O_o...
My friend mentioned that the decks in the old version were much more intricate. Although most aspects of the game are certainly better in the new version, its kind of true. The decks are either boring aggro or rush to get out your big guy! Im still pleased and would rather play this version but I hope the new decks that come out in the expansions will be a little more thought provoking.
On another note, what has everyone been running? I like the green blue ramp deck obviously and second to that would have the be the artifact deck. White equipment deck seems good, vampires is ok but maybe toned down from the previous.
Anyways, great game, modifying the decks is awesome and all in all i say well done, bring on the expansions!
I dont know if people already gotten to the "revenge" mode, but I noticed something remarkable.
Your opponents actually got cards to their repertoire now that you can not get yourself.
For example I tried to unlock cards with one of the decks I didnt play yet against Koth, hereby I overextended and got faced by a slagstorm!!
Most of the cards I saw that game actually were pretty high power cards, gonna be interesting
Yeah, I noticed that.
Jace's Revenge deck upset me while I was using U/G ramp. I can't remember what the card was called, but he searched my deck for a creature and then put it into play under his control. Took my Lorthos. Made the Kozilek I topped useless.
I haven't played the first version of this game, but I love this one, aside from a few gripes. Mainly, I want to tap my own mana! I got screwed holding a counterspell and a creature in UG ramp, I believe. I played the creature and it tapped out all of my blue and left me with green mana and unable to Counter the big fattie the CPU dropped.
I got to Revenge on about day 2, and my gf and I have burnt through it. Only having trouble with Karn's turn 2-3 Tinker-->Colossus. Bastard.

I had him drop a turn 2 Darksteel on the game I beat him on. Luckily, I had placed a Gideon's Lawkeeper on my first turn so I kept it tapped/locked down throughout the game (just slowed me down a bit as I had to keep the mana open to tap it every turn).
It seems that he pulls that Mox Sapphire first turn every game.

Yeah, that and getting screwed once in a while because of the timer really hurts.
I also want to choose the number of lands in my deck, not have the computer do it for me.

Despite the quibbles above, my only real complaint is that the game seems really short.
Good thing it only cost me $8 with the PSN deals Sony has going ($8 for a chromium Inferno Titan! Woot!).
Sadly, yeah, I'm already starving for DLC. I beat all three modes on Planeswalker, My wife and I played local coop with a buddy of ours in California for some archenimy and that was fun, and now I only have a couple cards left to unlock... The game was worth it's price and then some, so I won't complain, but I feel like I've done all there is to do for now.
Also, sure, Karn has a badass deck... that we'll probably get to play with come next expansion

Haha...I had already fully unlocked the Jace deck and was pretty surprised to see Jace play that card since it wasn't available for unlock. Fortunately, I was playing Chandra's deck at the time, so the best thing Bribery could hit was my Flametongue Kavu.
I'm surprised that the AI even knew how to use Lorthos, since every time I've had an AI U/G ally in Archenemy, it would cast some big creature prior to combat so that it couldn't use Lorthos's ability to simply win us the game. I don't know if that was worse when the allied U/G AI bounced MY Steel Golem instead of saving it for the archenemy's Ryusei that I had just bounced just so it could have some Saprolings.
I have, however, also been noticing that the Revenge decks use some fun cards. Garruk's Hydra Omnivore would've been a lot more exciting if I had been facing him in Archenemy, though.
Oh, I wasn't aware that it was restricted in all formats it seen play. However, given the quality of the decks, I figured it was a casual setting, where you could have 4-of any card.
I feel it was really short, too. I burned through Campaign, and half of Revenge, with 2 Archenemy matches in 2 days. I slowed down and started cracking out on InFamous, but my lady and I are about done with DotP altogether. When is DLC set, any idea? and was it free last time?

Nah, my game went on long enough for us both to have 13+ lands.
Is it just me or is the templating for foil cards off?

Has anyone else played the tier 3 challenge in the Archenemy campaign? The one called Seek No Longer. I can't find a legitimate solution to the puzzle.
The puzzle seems designed to function such that when a player leaves the game, their Oblivion Rings and Faceless Butchers return whatever they were exiling to the battlefield. However, according to the actual game rules, the triggers of a player who has left the game don't trigger (CR 800.4c), so this solution does not work.
Did anyone else find another solution that would work in a real game of magic? I haven't been able to.
I found this discrepency in the rules really annoying, especially since the challenge seems designed to abuse it. The challenge designers should know how oblivion ring functions in multiplayer. Does anyone else think this might indicate a possible rules change with the release of M12?

I never realized this. But there are several occasions where the game just makes certain decisions for you to let the puzzle go the way the developers intended it to.
For example, the puzzle with the Gifts Ungiven cards just places a Dragon Whelp and Sword of Vengeance
in your starting hand. If you tap the way you wanted to you could play the Dragon, Sword, equip sword and pump the dragon to do lethal damage.
They just intended it to piss you off with the mana tapping...
For that puzzle there probably isn't a legit way to solve it, as they would probably bend the rules in their favor and make it not work anyway. Just to get it to work as they want.

That puzzle annoyed me to no end. Tapping your own mana is a really basic part of Magic, and even though DotP isn't geared toward seasoned Magic veterans, that should still be part of the game.

Does anyone know what is included with Steam's special edition of the game? I couldn't care less about foil conversions, and the rest of the stuff doesn't seem worth an extra $10, but is the comic included something new or just a pdf of an old comic? Are the wallpapers at least nice?

Not sure what you're talking about here. You have 17 lands. You have to pay 4 for the Dragon Whelp, 3 for the Sword, then 3 to equip the Sword (Sword of Vengeance is not like the other swords). That's 10 mana, and the dragon gets +2/+0 for a total power of 4. If you tap the remaining 7 lands, it has a power of 11, and your opponent has 12 life.
