i genuinely hope Garruk. Sorin is for me the most likely one to appear. Nahiri would be nice too. i wonder if they decide to make same Planeswalkers with different army-cards.
I have the initial release of Arena, tried playing it once and while I like the idea of it, the rules seemed overly complicated in some ways and very poorly explained in others. Also the lack of a good amount of the plastic terrain pieces really was a disappointment.
"its inhabitants needs" really, did the same duder who fudged Omniscience's flavor text write this? Does Wizards not have a proof-reader? Sorry if this seems pedantic, but I want to give them charitable interpretations in all of their choices (design, reprint, overall direction-wise etc.), but when something as black-and-white as basic grammar is missed, how am I supposed to believe that the best, most valid concerns regarding issues MUCH more challenging are given proper consideration? Does anyone else see why this is an issue, or should I just stop complaining about the free beer being not cold enough?
EDIT - In hindsight, I guess the fact that this is particular to the Tactics game is enough to invalidate my concerns. Still though, how many would kill for a job at Wizards just dotting some i's and crossing some t's?

They did that in Heroscape. There were two different versions of Sgt. Drake and Raelin during the lifetime of the game. So having multiple versions of a Planeswalker is not outside the realm of possibility.

It's not just that.
"its inhabitants needs" is incorrect (plural/singular). "A Shadow Casts" is incorrect (A shadow IS cast--it's the direct object, not the subject). Even "its inhabitants need protecting" is an awkwardly passive colloquialism you wouldn't normally find on something like this. The writing made me just assume it was a fake someone threw together for fun--until I saw that everyone in the thread was treating it as real.

The copywriting is horrid.
It's pretty clear that AoP does not get anywhere near the budget it needs, as evident by the amateurish rulebook in the core set.
Don't think there's any type of expansion that will make me want to play this game again, it's just extremely boring. Was glad I was able to return the first expansion unopened.
Can't wait so long. I already just improvised on terrain and custom made new units, spells and planeswalkers while i wait for these expansions. Wasn't sure they were going to make these expansions but i guess it did decently. The base game is pretty fun, if you need something new create your own terrain, squad peices, cards.
Still only have the core set. Friend and I tried playing it back when I first got it.
The rules just didn't explain a lot of things very well, made playing just frustrating.
Thats unfortunate d:( The german rulebook is easy to understand & the games were very even much more enjoyable than the cardgame. Its more tactical & more difficult, but doesnt determine the winner with the most $ d:)
Guess this warrants a bump. Haven't seen it talked about anywhere else yet. Avacyn as a legendary creature is cool. Not being colored is not cool
Possible expansion in the summer with Liliana, Emrakul, (and Tamiyo?) This little game is starting to get expensive lol.
This box design looks like a stand alone game, rather than an expansion to the standard game. Would love more details on it as I really enjoy the regular game.

The Ghoul Vanguard is another hint that Liliana will come to the rescue with her undead. Might be a cardname as well.
