My brother had a theory and I just wanted to share it, mostly just to throw the idea out there.
I would first like to bring up the fact that the Gatewatch completely stomped all over the Eldrazi Ulamog and Kozilek threw at them, eventually leading to the downfall of the two as well (Every card depicting them in the set). However, in the Eldritch Moon Trailer, we very clearly see that the Gatewatch gets TKOed by some form of Eldrazi (Be it Emi herself or some scions of some sort). The only logical conclusion is that Emrakul is far, FAR stronger than either of the other two ever were.
Now, if you judge the three by their appearances, What is very easily distinguished about both Kozilek and Ulamog, but completely absent on Emrakul? Kozilek and Ulamog both have Arms, a Torso, and at the very least something that stands in as a head (Ulamog has one, Kozilek is more of an eye).
However, when you look at Emrakul, she is an upside down pasta plate with a singular eyeball; not human in the slightest. What's more is that she corrupts the minds of people and pulls them in, much like the story with Jace and Tamiyo (And indeed, 90% of what's going on on Innistrad right now).
It is our theory that Kozilek and Ulamog (At the very least) were both Planewalkers that were corrupted by Emrakul, and either because of their spark or because they were the first they morphed into Titans rather than normal Eldrazi. This would also explain why they can travel the Blind Eternities, as they have the Spark. Emrakul herself might even be one that's even further evolved, or she could just be something that shouldn't have been found sleeping/eating/doing what she do in the BE.
I would like to throw in that Emrakul *could* be Marit Lage (As neither have express origins/dates), but I would like to throw it right back out because of how tacky that would be.

Oath of the Gatewatch; the set that caused the competitive community to freak out over Basic Lands.
Pretty sure wizards just said when eldrazi were first created that they naturally were able to walk the planes with something due to how they aren't bound by normal reality or something.
Yeah, if I remember correctly, the original storyline for Zendikar basically said that the Eldrazi naturally live in the "blind eternities" or the space between planes. They would move from plane to plane only to consume the plane for its mana. Sort of like a multiverse Galactus. Eventually, walkers lured them to Zendikar using Zendikar's exotic mana and trapped them with the hedrons.

I believe it was Ugin who described them as being native to the Blind Eternities.
I like it. I think there have been similar Emrakul = mommy theories floating around here. I would point out that from the beginning they've been said to be From/ born in the blind eternities. That said, what if;
Emrakul was the original & maybe confined to the BE, until 2 unlucky planeswalkers smacked into her mid-planeswalk & got consumed/ eldrazified allowing her to reach into the planes.
This would be a very interesting solution to the problem of why the two lesser titans look so similar to each other and nothing like the superior titan.
Could also be part of Emmy's "eldrazi conscription power" where over time set walkers consumed enough power to grow into titans.
What if All the eldrazi titans were once planeswalkers?
Because I remember hearing a long while back while planeswalkers could walk the blind eternities, they couldn't stay there.
Maybe Emmy stayed too long and was mutated and became one with the eternities?
I still think the idea that they are multiverse ani-bodies that consume destabilizing planes before they can collapse the multiverse makes more sense. But there is no reason that theory cannot still apply and that Emrakul was always that force and she conscripted the other two titans from powerful planeswalkers.
I really like this theory, and it really doesn't shoot holes into the original description of what the Eldrazi are. To planeswalk, you travel the BE. What if... When a walker attempted to PW to a plane, it was being devoured by the 'Drazi, or really, Emrakul. Would that halt the PW? Hypothetically trapping the Walker in the BE? Could it be prolonged exposure to the BE that transformed them? Or was it Emrakul? I mean, Brusela was corrupted and turned into whatever it was she now is, and has similar appearances to the other 2 Titans. Things that make ya go hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I'm on the same wavelength as the OP, and I was just thinking recently that Magic is due for a big death/loss. It can't be one of the five, but given the Brusela pic, as someone said above, I could totally see us losing Sorin or Nahiri as Emrakul tries to replace her henchmen that got killed in OGW with a brand new titan.
Imagine if Ugin, who said he was gonna study the dead titans corpses, gets Eldrazified by spending too much time hanging around their essence. That would be wicked.
I'm into it. I think that works in explaining how the Gatewatch could destroy them at all, while also setting them up for a huge wall when Emrakul isn't as easy to defeat. Pre-Mending walkers under the influence of and amped up in power by Emrakul, THE devourer of worlds, only to be released after the mending and without him backing them up seems about what BFZ provided us with. Not sure how the lore could convincingly provide us with information, though, besides Ugin being like "look what I found."

One of these day I have to get myself organizized.
Pre-Mending walkers under the influence of and amped up in power by Emrakul, THE devourer of worlds
Hey, now that's a cool idea! If they were in the Blind Eternities when The Mending happened, maybe they weren't affected by it at all.
And the BFZ point is good, the titans came as three last time, but this time they came as 2 + 1, giving some reasoning as to why the walkers could kamehameha them to death.
I don't believe the titans were former planeswalkers (or at least not necessarily). Fish aren't former human divers. There can be plenty of beings that can move through the blind eternities, planeswalkers only one of many.
However, I do find the idea intriguing that Emrakul is the Ur-Titan that creates new titans by corrupting living beings into enormous Eldrazi. This theory was brought up first when we got the solution to the clue puzzle. "Remember: They came as three." would be a really really neat way of foreshadowing this. Without our knowledge it seems to be just a mundane information of "Hey, you killed two titans, but there's a third, remember?" but with the knowledge of how new Eldrazi are born, it would get a whole different meaning. The Eldrazi don't come as three, because there are three, but because Emrakul always simply spawns two new buddies if the old ones bite the dust. Plus it ties super-nicely into her "corrupting things into Eldrazi" shtick.
Unfortunately, I don't see this happening. There is not enough plot in a small set to show us the Gatewatch fighting Emrakul, Nahiri sealing the titan PLUS two new titans spawn under her influence.
But here's the bombshell being dropped.
What if Tibalt is the next Eldrazi titan?
Feels like Garruk would be a more likely target than any other PW right now. He's in bad shape already and should be easily overcome by Emrakul, if it went that way.
I definitely am on board in thinking that Emrakul is the actual Titan and that the other two were her spawn. The nature of the eldrazi seems to be that everything sort of branches out ad nauseum into smaller and smaller spawn.
What if Ulamog and Kozilek are just what eventually happened to Urza and Mishra? I don't remember if the Brothers both sparked or just Urza, or if Mishra died. This would be a great way to tie back in Dominaria and a prequel story in a later set, as current Dominaria isn't really interesting to go back to, but the story of how the Brother's war ended in two powerful planeswalkers turning into Eldrazi would be a fun way to bring it back around.

Mishra was eternally tortured on Old Phyrexia before eventually dying and Urza got decapitated then blown up in the Legacy Weapon blast that gave Karn his spark. Also, Mishra is not a planeswalker, only Urza is.

They were also born after the Eldrazi were sealed. Pretty much everything in Magic's story, except the novel The Thran, takes place after the Eldrazi were sealed by Sorin, Nahiri, and Ugin.
- Even after all the retcons, the Eldrazi are established as Blind Eternities beings, whose true forms dwell outside the planes. This is more or less opposite to what planeswalkers actually are.
- Oldwalkers are literally just "holograms" projected by a spark. No true flesh to corrupt; that's how they could survive going into Phyrexia, for exmaple.
- The idea that Emrakul can create new titans is so far only speculation.
All the people who pulled comments like "Ulamog is Mishra" should seriously be ashamed of themselves.
Now this make sense! This is the main reason why UGIN told JACE that DO NOT KILL the eldrazis. I think UGIN knows that the Eldrazi titan Kozilek and Ulamog was a former planeswakers that is corrupted by Emrakul, and maybe Kozilek and Ulamog was UGIN close friends. That's why he wanted to imprison them instead of killing them. He wanted to know if he can still change them back to planeswalkers, try to do further research on Emrakul, and feared that other planeswalker might get corrupted by Emrakul.
One thing for sure UGIN knows all about the Eldrazi from the beginning, that's why Bolas attacked him because Bolas wanted to get that knowledge. Who knows maybe UGIN really hiding this.
Possible Scenario, Emrakul was the original Progenitor Eldrazi. She walks the Blind Eternities and devour planes. Now Ugin being Ancient tried to stop Emrakul alongside with his 2 more planeswalker buddies. As they confronted Emrakul, the 2 other planeswalkers succumb to the corruption of Emrakul in front of UGIN, then UGIN flee. Knowing what happened, UGIN look for another 2 planeswalker to help him CONTAIN the 3 titans in order he can study Emrakul and try to bring his 2 friends back.
All 3 could have Ben corrupted by the true edlrazi leader
And the. They all became the names Ulamog, kozilek, and emrakul,
But If the theory of Ulamog is actually Ula corrupted and kozilek is cosi corrupted (Ula and Cosi got corrupted by emrakul a long time ago and several generations later the evolve to Ulamog and kozilek.)
How did emeria get corrupted? And isn't she supposivly emrakul?
