Quintorius returns to Arcavios to check for evidence of the Coin Empire there, which he has a strong hunch exists there
Dean Augusta Tullus has entered the afterlife and become a spirit encased in stone, still working as a dean
Quintorius remains clumsy, as always
Quintorius eventually gets permission to enter the Fields of Strife to investigate the likely location of evidence of the Coin Empire
Quintorius purposefully steps out of bounds and falls into a sinkhole with Coin Empire artifacts, then brings one artifact with him so he can persuade the deans to let him dig further
Quintorius persuades the deans and even gets a helper
The helper returns from the sinkhole with fossils (implied to include fossil tracks of Fomori); Quintorius returns with a tile mosaic of what is heavily implied to be a Fomorian with a lance fighting an Eldrazi
Quintorius notes earlier in the story that his track of the Coin Empire got cold in Innistrad before he got the tip to investigate Ixalan
this further plots that after reality fracture might be the return of both fomori and eldrazi
and reading peoples post on other things and looking at this i know have questions
1. were the omenpaths truly created by the realm breaker?
2. the celestus.....did the warlocks make it?....or......repaired it?
3. it seems to indicate the fomori were on arcavios and he even found a weapon used to fight the eldrazi....are we positive arcavios and the Arhanics has nothing to do with eldrazi? nor have a connection to that war.
4. loot seemed to have a map of the entire mutifverse in his head stord in a fomori vault and yet his head had every single omenpath there is and yet loot was in there for stasis for many many years, its how did loot even get every path in his head when he was in the vault for so long and the omenpaths didn't exist till after realm breakers
5. helgas vision mentions "The kings in the dark will return, The mage in blue will bring about The End", im starting to wonder if what happened in dragon storm was the part helga was talking about with jace, what if it happens in reality fracture? also while likely the fomori how do we know the kings are not just fomori but eldrazi too? after all EOE info may possible indicate the formori and eldrazi and the Vaar are maybe be where they are
As far as I could tell, the omenpaths are more how the multiverse decided to operate after the Realmbreaker wrecked it (fairly sure I saw Zimone speculate along those lines).
There is a nonzero chance the Celestus was constructed to make the Fomori-Eldrazi War trail go cold. There's also a nonzero chance said trail got cold in Innistrad because Emrakul could predict its/her future in stasis there and purposefully decided to stay out until it was time.
Nope, we're not positive.
Jace has noted that the omenpath map in Loot's head is live and constantly updates. That's how Loot got every path in his head - he has the mental equivalent of Google Omenpath Maps. Now how that got programmed into his head in the first place is a mystery Wizards just might solve for us...
Man, Jace bringing the end multiple times would be hilarious. Dude just will not learn at this point. I remember interpretations of the "kings in the dark" varying from Fomori to Nicol Bolas already, so we can throw one more into the barbie in the form of the Eldrazi titans...it's time to be prepared to be wrong, though.
Loot has a map of the multiverse in his head which also includes the omenpaths.

Zimone is not living well from paycheck to paycheck
Zimone is working on a constantly updating model of the Multiverse - heavily implied to not exactly have all the Omenpaths in, unlike Loot's, but it's getting there
Zimone gets a letter from someone heavily implied to be Tyvar, repeatedly floating in this story as a foil of a (ironically less chatterbox, it turns out) friend
Right as Zimone has found the model modelling the "snarl", she gets a job offer that expires in 24 hours
Zimone decides to duplicate herself so she can investigate and have the duplicate hold down the new job
Zimone ends up needing to divide herself in order to create the duplicate in time - she divides out the portion of her personality who does not want to disappoint
Zimone checks in with Dean Nev of Strixhaven with Tyvar - Nev later emphasizes Zimone's new job over the "snarl" investigation, which publicly outrages Tyvar and stresses out Zimone - Tyvar tries comforting Zimone with a hand of ice, mimicking the drink with ice Nev has
In desperation because the new job only pays at the end of the month, Zimone duplicates herself again to get more jobs (the overachiever side gets in this duplicate), then duplicates herself once more to get a supportive friend (sadly, the chatterbox side comes out)
Zimone makes the breakthrough with the modelled "snarl": someone is duplicating the Multiverse with it (number one suspect: Spirit Jace)
Dina arrives at Zimone's unit, and upon seeing that friend of hers again, Zimone realizes that she needs real company she can stand and less stress in her life
Zimone undoes all the duplication spells, which turn out to be easy but hurt
When Zimone asks if she's a chatterbox like her friend duplicate was, Dina freely admits yes but still likes her company
Zimone and Dina cast a spell that determines that Chandra knows the person duplicating the Multiverse through the "snarl" (but not necessarily that she knows who's doing the duplication)
Zimone and Dina decide to meet Chandra with Zimone's breakthrough
Zimone and Dina chat about getting Zimone a new roommate - it's lightly implied Dina might recruit Killian into that roommate role
There's also a nonzero chance said trail got cold in Innistrad because Emrakul could predict its/her future in stasis there and purposefully decided to stay out until it was time.

i appreicate the response
all im really going at is what if the omenpaths were always there all along and the realm breaker really just reopened them.
and the fomori made them eons ago, and loot (whatever species he was) was used as a guide to how they were doing
(ps nice to see zimmone is getting close to loot level of a map of the omenpaths/multiverse)
one reason for the theory is the drix weftwalking (you can go inside the blind eternities safely but can't enter planes) the fomori would give them technology to do that if they fought off the eldraiz with them
it could be a weaker version of the omenpaths Drix Fatemaker coming out of weftwalking looks similar color to a omenpath even though not triangle like
and during the eldrazi conflict they were probably forced to close them so the eldrazi's can't use them to follow them.
heck another question is
remember how ugin lured Ulamog, Kozilek, and Emrakul to zendikar back then, now im questioning that he did it during their conflict with the formori all those years ago
oh by the way for the whole community i may have spott something
quint may have actually went to thero and we didn't know it for his research on the coin empire
don't reconize that head?
possibly recognize it now? you'll even notice the head has a tint of green skin on it
In today's side story:
Zimone and Dina chat about getting Zimone a new roommate - it's lightly implied Dina might recruit Killian into that roommate role
Its implied Dina and Zimone are gonna be roommates and Dina is making sure Zimone is okay and aware Killian might be around and sharing Dina's bed when he spends the night (and won't make a mess of the bathroom).

In response to one of the items in the top spoiler:
I am not convinced that the Fomori made all the Omenpaths given that, in the Lorwyn Eclipsed story, Oko is heavily implied to have made a temporary one with the express purpose of luring off-planers into it.
There's also the part of the Aetherdrift story where Loot is lightly implied to have made his first Omenpath.
Too many Omenpaths are being created with new purpose for me to say that any large force is merely reopening ancient ones.
Nice catch on Quint sneaking in a trip to Theros, though.
besides
oko probably by freak accident learned how to open/close/control omen paths at will
and loot was a bad example on your part i said loot likely is connected to creating omenpaths and h probably learned faster than oko since he actually knows when and where they are going to appear
oh almost forgot the ones that are temporary open and stay close thats probably so the coin empire/fomori can't be followed
and ofcourse theres a good chance fomori were invading planes just like elesh norn tried to do back in the day and this could have been their source to do it.
though one more thing just hit me
the whole hexhaven thing ally colleges
im wonder if those are owned by dragons too but im starting to think...
its the dragonlords from tarkir
1. they are ally colored
2. to time travel back to dragonstorm its unknown what happened to the dragon lords all we know is they mysteriously disapeared into a dragon storm im wondering if the dragons were spiraled into the snarl that jazri went into to and ended up in the backwards strixhaven, plus the rumor mentions a battling/arena version of strixhaven
1- There was planar portals and devices that let people travel between planes pre-mending. I don't think there was "omenpaths" just the random portals like the one on Ulgrotha and from the Ixalan guide its implied the folmori just used weatherlight like ships.
2- I don't get how y'all got Oko controlled an omenpath, from everything in the text it seems like he just found one and used it to lure in the students.

"I thought she (Maralen) was Oona, so I taunted and tormented her, and when that didn't work, I brought outsiders to sow chaos."

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Two feuding sides warring over a region called Mornhollow, including a spring named All-Gleam that has remained clean despite the Phyrexian Invasion surrounding it, are at it again
Killian gets involved in a proxy duel with the Silkmeadow side's delegate, Crownflower (nicknamed Crown) the leonin, and loses - Killian admits later that he allowed the loss to happen and semi-purposefully slipped in his duelling ability
It is strongly emphasized that duels cannot be used to determine winners in a greater conflict - all they can do is vent feelings - Shadrix Silverquill wrote that into law himself
Killian gets taken care of by Verdis, the Tor-Kathorr delegate in the feud - an orc who is very friendly with Crown and probably wants peace (Crown likewise)
The feud goes on until the Naming Tithe at the Forum of Amity that Embrose oversees
Embrose excoriates both parties and commands them to live with each other, however broken of a state they end up in, but does finish the Naming Tithe properly
Crown and Verdis prepare to duel yet again despite the Tithe, and Killian brings it onto himself to further enforce the less violent nature of this new duel
The new duel ends up becoming the duel equivalent of capoeira (on the border between violent and not violent, some aspects of a choreographed dance)
Embrose arrives, disapproving of the overly improvised and non-approved aspects of the additions to the duel rules, but also intrigued
Killian tries smoothing things over, partly by claiming he was inspired by Embrose's new poetry to add the additions, and it works - Embrose is proud of Killian again (at least for a bit)
Embrose's new poetry is notably scattered across the story
1- There was planar portals and devices that let people travel between planes pre-mending. I don't think there was "omenpaths" just the random portals like the one on Ulgrotha and from the Ixalan guide its implied the folmori just used weatherlight like ships.

well possible explanation of fomori going to planes
but that doesn't explain how loot has a pitch perfect map of the entire multiverse in his head even the omenpaths INSTANTLY when he was locked in that vault for well before the paths were created (atleast since agents of artifice)
Dina takes 3 students with her, including Basil, the reluctant first-year, to lure in a spirit named the Devotion who has killed lately (she resents this)
Basil had broken down ever since his partner Mertyn died, refusing to choose a Strixhaven path
The students are explicitly told that "Mertyn" will be visiting them and that none of them should go down with him to the lake alone
The other 2 students fully obey that despite "Mertyn"'s verbal luring, but Basil, looking more confident around "Mertyn" than ever, disobeys and goes to the lake with "them"
Dina and the other two students try to rescue Basil, but they all fall into a trap, with the Devotion attacking them
Basil easily attacks the Devotion's focal skull and repels the Devotion that way, in a show of great talent Dina acknowledges (it's possible Basil knew he was a strong enough mage to escape the Devotion that way and therefore felt confident biting on "Mertyn"'s lure)
Basil refuses the offers to join Witherbloom with "I just don't want to be a mage anymore" and gets away from the crowd, even placing the focal skull of the Devotion down nicely in the process
I still don't know why Basil refuses to join Witherbloom in the end and is implied to have dropped out of Strixhaven - still consumed with grief from losing Mertyn? Doesn't like the stress of taking Strixhaven classes? Truly wants to retire in a nice corner where he doesn't need to practice magic? Didn't get his way with the Devotion and would rather investigate that spirit, even at the cost of breaking ties with everyone else?

Again, Loot has a living version of the multiverse in his mind so that happens to include omenpaths. Not clear if its just Loot or if Fomori in general can have it*, or if it was implanted into him, but likely he was used in the past for the fomori to find natural portals or using Loot as a navigator for the ships. Also likely was he was locked in a vault, his point of view of his past isn't painted as the best so he might have been used a tool and then stored and forgotten in the vault.
*worth noting that Loot has the Noble creature type in all his card which could mean he is part of an upper or even ruling class of fomori who might have been the ones to have the map ability or put in Loots mind.
