Secrets of Strixhaven is our return to a set that is inspired by magic school genre and is a mix of an enemy faction set and an instant and sorcery matter sets.
We will follow the five new student character we met in Lorwyn Eclipsed and well as seeing the end of and post school life of the oringal give face students from the last visit, which is show some off the plane besides the familiar campus grounds shown to us so far. This is also the penultimate set to this story arc we had since Wilders of Eldraine meaning by the end of this set we will be set up whatever the end results of Jace's plan to remake reality fractures off into.
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"

Prof. Zarek of Silverquill is implied to be a member of the Orzhov (or at least he looks BW and he says what looks like the first ever mention of an "Orzhov comma")
Prof. Zarek privately admits he disrupted Ravnica's leylines (possibly just by entering an alternate Ravnica?) and would like a certain book to help him fix his leyline situation...which turns out to be forbidden and heavily guarded
To point out once again they got to a vault of some sort
Remmeber Edge of eternities had tezzeret mention something about a vault (it could be the one in thunder junction ofcourse) but edge wasn't part of the main story but gives a foreshadow hint of future lore (could involve the Vaar/eldrazi/fomori/the endstone or whatever… maybe even slivers)
second they mentioned something called “void” something remember helgas vision
"The kings in the dark will return," she intoned. "The mage in blue will bring about the end."
could that dark involve this void? We don’t know but we know the second part happened with Jaces idiotic stunt in the meditation realm
and third … reminder on the ridiculous tin foil theory bout arcavios being eldrazi related with the floating rocks and the Archaics
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Among the bigger highlights of the Planeswalker's Guide:
Archaics are born by the mind and soul of an oracle being pushed backwards to the time of Arcavios's creation, torn apart, and reassembled into an Archaic's body
This explains why Archaics are often so cryptic and hard to understand - they want to avoid creating time paradoxes
We can still claim Kozilek programmed the Archaic creation process into Arcavios so all the Archaics look like its/his distant grandchildren
The leading theory is that Arcavios was created when two demi-planes, Ezroi and Karudis, fused together
There exists Titan's Grave, built around and into the body of a dead semi-elemental giant
That city has a population of lumarets, organisms that are parts toad, insect, and spirit that are likely only semi-sentient but use their own magic to grow, heal, protect, and attack, and additionally have inquisitive and mischievous personalities, rather like some faeries
I can't help but notice that all the new locations they described in the PW Guide are found on the continent of Orrithia/The Vastlands. They mentioned the existence of a second, "Mysterious" continent of Galathul, but not a single word about it otherwise. Are we going to get a part 2 of this PW Guide, or is Galathul going to be a hook for another return down the line?

I am pretty sure either Galathul makes a surprise appearance in the story, or they want to keep it to expand further on the plane in a (likely) return down the line.
i don't know why but im just getting this gut instinct that eldrazis might be returning again after reality fracture after reading this guide (along with formori ofcourse)
basically i got a strange feeling the archaics could have a connection to the vaar/endstone thing at the end of the EOE story. (which could also be related to eldrazi/fomori)
after all they said EOE is not part of the main arc but a foreshadow future events in the mtg story
So, basically, we got an extra off-campus location for each college, do I read that right?
Roughly yes, though these places are only vaguely connected to the colleges, some are disputed over by multiple colleges, and there are sub-locations that are not aligned at all. It also kind of makes sense, seeing as Arcavios is so deeply tied to the dichotomies (aka the enemy color pairs). I guess that means it is just very likely to develop like this (similar to Kamigawa's geographical split along color lines).

Yeah we knew all of this already from the DnD book from Strixhaven. I really don't see the Kozilek connections since he was all about bending physics and the Archaics seems pretty orderly.

Pretty much this, from the doylist view point Arcavios/Strixhaven is meant to be a enemy colored set so makes sense if they where gonna add places along color lines they do enemy colors.
Sweet def looks BG, maybe a vampire. Quint is also here but we will see if he gets a main set card and/or we will see Kasmina sparked or not as a possible second.

Lumarets are classified as "Spirit Frog" as creature types, and Lluwen strongly implies they are fully sentient with a culture/civilization
Kirol is taking a long field trip to the Fields of Stride, which due to an encounter with a spirit there (likely of a fellow vampire due to Kirol thinking he looks like kin, which caused him to hesitate encountering him), he now needs a supervisor - Ajani - on all trips there
Kirol seems to want to treat the letter generator more like Reddit - some freedom to make long posts, more freedom to make short posts, likely should still put your name on your posts
Abigale is trying to regulate the letter generation process, including to the point of having to treat everyone to the same standards
Tamira is still an informed Gorgon with no snakes and no tentacles for hair but probably the ability to petrify others...not beating the "AU child of AU!Jace and AU!Vraska" accusations much
its seems to indicate....Kasmina is another victim of the Spark Rupture for peak sakes wizards are you seriously only focusing on the boys keeping their sparks only 3 out 15 girls still have their spark

Professor Dellian Fel of Witherbloom confirmed to be a planeswalker
Prof. Fel had previously sworn an oath of devotion that even Oracle Jadzi ends up respecting, even though in order to fulfill the oath, he is getting students into danger
Lluwen ends up running into Archaics twice - once in a meeting of several Archaics in Titan's Grave, once seeing an Archaic in starry agony, apparently seeing its past and present at the same time and therefore already in a time paradox
Kirol later reports that Jadzi got kidnapped by an Archaic, likely the same as the one caught in starry agony
Archaics have been unusually agitated lately, prompting a meeting between Fel and Jadzi before Jadzi got kidnapped (possibly by her Archaic self?)
Kirol initially strikes a deal around 3:00 AM with Ajani to wait for him, though Kirol soon requests a horse and leaves, reneging on the deal
Is all that Archaic agitation related to the AU!staffers arriving lately (e.g. Prof. Zarek, White Liliana)?
I'm confused... did they just decide Ral Zarek is now an entirely different person? Feels very shoehorned in if that's the case.

The Lorwyn Eclipsed main storyline ended with what its author admits is a white-aligned version of Liliana meeting our familiar black-aligned Prof. Liliana, so Prof. Zarek is heavily implied to be an AU!Ral Zarek (who might be having a better time dating his version of Tomik).
Ajani tracks down Kirol anyway, who is with Abigale and Sanar in Titan's Grave
Kequia of the Strixhaven novel is mentioned in passing - her last name turns out to be the same as her grandpa Teferi's, Akosa
The group passes by Dina, who's still marking papers
Ajani ends up getting ambushed by Chandra, who seems to be behaving more than a little OOC right now, to the point that I'm not 100% sure that's Chandra
Chandra is currently with members of the Shattered, former members of the Oriq who ambiguously quit but are still trying to investigate Arcavios at large, including the new Archaic problem
The Shattered are tending to Lluwen and Tamira right now
Chandra reveals that Jace helped heal her (probably back in the Aetherdrift story) but is trying to influence her more now
Chandra thinks Jace is manipulating Archaics despite being a spirit (possibly to distract all of them from noticing the influx of AU staffers like Prof. Zarek, possibly by reuniting the Archaics with their Oracle selves?)
Chandra ends up attacking the giant Archaic who has Jadzi in the palm of its hand
Said Archaic shelters Jadzi in a magic bubble as it counterattacks in a cliffhanger, conveying "Why did you do this to me?"
