Well....after the four awesome stories before, we are back to filler-y material. The Zendikar story felt a little bit "checking the box", but then again, I did not like the story of Zendikar Rising centered on Nahiri's attempt to reshape Zendikar with the Lithoform Engine either - it just failed to catch enough of my attention. Also, I kinda hoped for Omnath to show up. Four visits to Zendikar and we have never seen the thing in the stories "live".
The Capennan story is also kind of filler, with the exception of the ending and Capennan angels being unleashed into the Multiverse to (presumably) help to cleanse the compleated worlds with Halo. But it was quite good read. Poor Anhelo, though. It seems that the Maestros succumbed the most.
By the way, they did not crash the WHOLE New Capenna on Atraxa, just Park Heights - the uppermost, most posh and most rich part of the city, basically the part where the best things were happening, and the best skyscrapers, operas, bars, and other things were.
The wrap-up in the last two stories tomorrow should be better worth it...

A shame they have remove Anhelo. He's one of the more interesting characters on Capenna and they just rid of him for good; and not in a very impressive way.
Honestly, what makes each plane fun was what they WERE, so this great reset of planes, before they were utilized further, is disturbing. Each locale requires tremendous amount of work to create, therefore it's always more cost-efficient to reuse them as we see in Ravnica, Zendikar, and Innistrad, before making drastic changes. The aforementioned three planes were reused so effing many times so it's ok to make some destructive moves, but Capenna and Strixhaven/Arcavios, (new) Kamigawa, Tarkir, etc only had a beginning, we don't even get to enjoy the set up. Again, what a waste.
At the same time, I think Capenna/Strixhaven being the potential "Wild West" set is appealing... but god knows how long that'd last before Emrakul warping it.
I kinda found it interesting that, despite all the talk of the families of New Capenna working together, there seemed to be ZERO mention of any kind of the Cabaretti. Did they get completely wiped out?
Falco came with a plan to drop the entire city on her (sacrifice the city) and rebuild it again. Better than ever ofcoarse
I was thinking so too, but considering that *none* of the story was from the point of view of Atraxa, Falco, or anyone nearby or fighting Atraxa, I feel like we are still going to get to see Atraxa's end in a story or side story. (Or maybe Atraxa survives and is dealt with in Aftermath, or escapes to cause trouble down the line?)
Mmh, we haven't yet seen Theros proper, Dominaria, Alara and Amonkhet. I assume the last side story will be between Theros or Dominaria.
The main story will likely be the final battle on New Phyrexia.
We haven't seen Jace yet either. He just disappeared after reading Norn's mind and thats it. But bringing him back for the last fight seems odd. Maybe he's the loose end to bring Phyrexia back in the future? Maybe next return to Vryn we will see it compleated? It wouldn't even be visually unfitting because Vryn is aesthetically built around circles. All it needs is a bar going through the middle.

I'm not sure how this will conclude, prior to reading the final chapters, but all I know is that they're doing a much better job this time around than with the entirety of the War of the Spark arc.
Not sure about you but the initial foundation and lead up to this point reminds me a lot of how they executed the Weatherlight Saga/Invasion I story. The Wilds of Eldraine will be to the Phyrexia arc the same way Odyssey was to the end of the first invasion. (X amount of years after the invasion, societies trying to adapt and survive post-invasion, etc).

Wrenn indeed swapped Zhalfir and New Phyrexia, sealing NP out of time.
Vorinclex, Jin and Elesh are killed by the Zhalfirans with some help of Teferi's slo-mo magic.
Ajani and Nissa got de-compleated at a voluntary cost of Melira's life and Karn's spark. Quite a nice send-off for Melira (she is not needed anymore).
Tyvar apparently survived his clash with Koma. Pia Nalaar is also alive.
Wrenn might be reborn from an acorn planted by Teferi again on Zhalfir.
Atraxa was killed on New Capenna.
The rest we'll learn in the Aftermath.
The oil has gone offline as seemly many phyrexians with it, with Phyrexia now phased out

So with Zhalfir sort of kicking New Phyrexia out into the...place...does this count as a sort of planar shift/swap/expulsion then?
I truly think the mechanic modification we'll see is Flanking.
When you think of Zhalfir you think of flanking. Zhalfirin Crusader. Actually, unless it's Banding that we see a modification of...based on the paragraphs a third of the way down in Episode 9: You cannot break, what is woven together!" If that doesn't scream BANDING!!! then I don't know what does.

After reading the whole thing and seeing this arc come to a close... I can say that Lukka wasn't the "We're Disappointed with you" Planeswalker as I thought... Its Tibalt
Both Lukka and Tibalt are "Villains" in their arc which leads up to this.
Both Lukka and Tibalt get Compleated
Lukka got a card of him being compleated and a "feature" in the story to be killed.
... While Tibalt gets curb-stomped by Tyvar and was NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN! Not even a "I survived and is running around causing chaos and what-not" Nothing from him!
Only thing dissapointing about the entire story is Ajani and Nissa being cured. They both have been around long enough, both have had plenty of storylines throughout the years and both were the Most committed or corrupted by the Phyrexians and .... bleh , cured (at the expense of awesome Karn and awesome Melira). Just let them die and get some new walkers. Otherwise I liked the way it ended.

I suppose Dominarians will remain disappointed in Teferi at not putting Zhalfir back where it came from, instead plopping it down outside of Dominaria entirely.
Wow ... NORN got betrayed and the other praetors were so way easily defeated.
So in the end, there ain't gonna be a permanent link to the planes invaded by Realmbreaker? (ep. 9 saying that a lot of the Angels will be stuck to where they'll be going)
I know Melira, post what Wrenn did was useless already as character... but nobody really came to her aid and heal her at least from that wound? (Like, did any of the Capennan angels not go to New Phyrexia when they went to the portals?) She could've at least lived on Zhalfir and shi-- But oh well.
This ending didn't wove in that well for me, its like its way more rushed than WAR was. Are we getting stories for MOM: Aftermath?
(Sort of congrats to the Gruulfriends fandom, the Forsaken novel is pretty much 180'd. The silverlining for me through this is that Tyvar, mah bébé, is still alive and will continue to CHAD for some more years~ *knocks on wood* )

As Vraska's memory yes. I was specifically talking about compleat Jace and his mission he got from Norn. And if/how he survives.
