Inys Haen - CRIDHE
The Pit - The Abyss
Enigma Ridges - Echoir (a plane Dack Fayden visited in comics and was imprisoned by a titan collector)
The Fertile Lands of Saulvinia - Antausia (a plane featured in Duelist in 1994 in a game variant that could be considered as a great-great-great-grandmother of Planechase)
Ten Wizards Mountain - Shenmeng (Previously known as the Plane of Mountains and Seas, home of Yanggu & Yanling)
The Western Cloud - Gobakhan (Teyo's homeplane)
Path of the Enigma - that's Kasmina, right? Seems like she's not going to be the leader of (or involved with) a league of evil after all. Or maybe it's going to be a "noble cause with negative effects" kind of deal.
The new Lorwyn cards don't really tell us much about how the plane functions now. They're mostly Lorwyn (Invasion of Lorwyn, Kithkin Billyrider, Compleated Huntmaster), but then there's also one Shadowmoor Kithkin in the Commander precons (Mistmeadow Vanisher). I don't think it means much, but if I had to interpret some meaning into this, I'd say that this points to Lorwyn and Shadowmoor existing side-by-side to one another.
Interestingly both kithkin cards revealed so far have the glowing no-iris eyes from Shadowmoor, but the Billyrider is very clearly in a Lorwyn environment. Maybe the two planes did merge, but rather unevenly, with the elves largely taking after the Lorwyn-aspect and the kithkin taking on slightly more of the shadowmoor-aspect, at least visually.
Same might go for locations as well? Which would explain why there's a Mistmeadow in an otherwise Lorwyn-esque plane?
Normally I'd chalk this up to wizards not caring (and I doubt they put a ton of thought into an entire plane for three cards) but it is rather suspicious that the Lorwyn Kithkin has golden eyes and not normal ones.
Ten Wizards Mountain - Shenmeng (Previously known as the Plane of Mountains and Seas, home of Yanggu & Yanling)
I was actually gonna ask about this, because it felt like they finally gave the plane a proper name, but where was this confirmed?

I was interpreting the eyes on the Billyrider as a visual cue of Thoughtweft magic being "active" (see Thoughtweft Trio). Considering that the dual aspect of the plane is one of Lorwyn's key characteristics that they would probably want to preserve for a return, I can see them going for a setup where there's always a Lorwyn and always a Shadowmoor existing in parallel as mirrors of each other, with some people being able to cross between them.

Ultimately I guess it doesn't really matter because I doubt Wizards thought about it as much and even if they did, if we ever revisit Lorwyn, they might retocn a bunch of the stuff anyway.

The Ten Wizards Mountain is listed as location on the Plane of Mountains and Seas.
Now we have a plane card of this location, but the plane is called Shenmeng.
This is as much confirmation as I need

I'm curious what is transpiring on Theros with Ephara. Especially after seeing Ephara's Dispersal. Erebeos does not appear phyrexianized, and I can only hope Thassa was not either (the story cameo of her implied she was not, but Invasion of Theros flavor text suggests otherwise, contradicting as usual). We know at least 3 Theros gods are turned.

It's very subtle (unlike Heliod's) but if you look closely you can see that Erebos has glistening oil dripping from his eyes and on his left hand/arm. He's at the very least in the early stages of compleation.

But Erebus's eyes always had those dark markings, and a dark vapor emanating from them. I did observe glistening oil on his hands and arms though, but I took that to mean initial exposure to it, rather than compleation. Could Ephara be using divine waters to be cleansing Erebus here?
I feel like certain gods were always predisposed to side with Phyrexia by nature, such as Phenax, who had no qualms stirring chaos with Ashiok previously, compleated or not. I would really like to know the status of the pantheon on Theros, how the invasion transpired and resolved there in detail, and especially Ephara's place in it in the end. It's unusual to see a minor god defeating a major one as depicted here. Yet we only have direct confirmation of one of the three compleated gods.

I think it is pretty clear that all the major gods were compleated from Ephara, Ever-Sheltering. Including Thassa. The denial is futile, Jenrik.
Okay, standard jabs aside, I like the fact that each of the more obscure planes got another card referencing it. Especially liking these:
This is so... *chef's kiss*... They are very well aware of the old history with Urza and the planes he visited. I really, really hope Equilor is addressed in Aftermath somehow, as these worlds were often cited together.
Belenon seems like Eldraine/Ardenvale redux, a plane of knights.
*snicker* Well, there are things you cannot simply counter by intellect and intelligence, no matter how great.
And this is rather brutal. We were led to believe Atraxa was crushed beneath the rubble of the city, but here she is seen impaled on a girder. Henzie's a bada$$. Best reaction I saw:
Personally not a huge fan of the direction they're going with Belenon. The artworks we got gave off a more alien vibe with the Windriddle Palaces not following any (to me) known architectural style and the Edge of Malacol has these alien looking creatures in it. Instead we get a Bant/Eldraine mashup.

I would not put it better myself. But as I see it, they just needed a white battle with this effect and tried to choose a fitting plane for it... the battles (especially the lower rarities) are clearly bottom-up designs and the planes were just fitted afterwards to the effects as much as possible.

Yeah ... I was kind of excited about Invasion of Belenon at first, but what they've given us is pretty generic. I was expecting a little bit more "out there," something more Kaladesh-esque and futuristic-leaning. Xerex is kind of the same, they have this awesome M.C. Escher plane and they basically went "uhhhm ... they have knights there I guess."
Could be the knights of Belenon formed to fight/defend themselves from the alien creatures, which also would be why they are the ones who are the forces fighting Phyrexia.
That said I know from talks about showing Kaladesh early in magic origins as well as Arkhos/Theros and Mongseng/Tarkir they might just wanted to do something a bit generic so they don't lock in something too specific they might not want to have in it later and/or maybe we are getting a set on one of these planes soon and they are still working on elements so they can only show somewhat generic stuff that they have so far.

Erebos has never to my knowledge (and I did a gatherer search for his card art before I made my last post to be certain) he has never had any sort of actual 'markings' around his eyes. Black vapor, yes. Dark circles, yes. Markings, no.
we got a playmat of that collector box we see even more now
Looks like kiora, samut, nahiri, sarkhan, nissa, and Ob Nixilis (again) is gonna lose their sparks.
are consequence is looking like many walkers are gonna losing their sparks. Planeswalkers are probably gonna be reduced servilely in sets. Might further increase the theory of going back to weatherlight style heroes and mutiverse travel for non walkers might be lighting up.

It's not really a contradiction. We saw her at the beginning before Ajani was even dispatched to corrupt the gods.
