Just thought I’d put this up as PAX’s MTG panel is sure to discuss the story today. Assuming this is OK’d by Moderaters of course. Feel free to take it down and create a new thread if otherwise.
Can’t wait to discuss the tidbits at PAX and Ravnica Story as it occurs! Post everything relevant you hear and read!

I am actually surprised Jace isn't on the cover...maybe variant covers? Not so much because Jace is the main character but because he is such and it is on Ravnica.
I'm sure he will be an important presence. But I can't make out the 5th person. They have some sort of shield/magical charts around both arms. Maybe a new PW for Guilds of Ravnica?
5? Are you counting Bolas? I count Left to Right...Ral Zarek, Kaya, Chandra, and Gideon.
Sure its hard to make out Ral but I see a white streak in the hair.
I don't like Jace so its no great loss to me quite frankly. I am just surprised.
I wonder if this lends credence to my theory every guild will have a walker fitting someone in as BW was tricky.
UR: Ral Zarek
GB: Vraska
RW: Gideon
GW: Ajani
UB: Tezzeret
BW: Kaya
UW: Teferi
RG: Domri Rade or Chandra
UG: Tamiyo
RB: ????? Lili? She has always been pretty emotional and not too bright.
In the enlarged pic on twitter, I guess it is more Ral's silhouette than anyone's. But the power sig is just weird/does not belong. (from what we've seen representing him thus far.)
Greg Weisman writing the novel is legitimately exciting to me - he's very good at writing multifaceted characters with layers of nuance.
And I cannot believe I did not expect Kaya being called in to deal with the Ghost Council - in retrospect, it's such an obvious match-up.
Edit - I don't believe Izzit is pro-Bolas yet, although Bolas clearly intends for Ral to take it over. My half-baked theory is that Aurelia is under Bolas's control (explaining why Lazav sent Krenko to free Feather) and the Boros Legion will betray the anti-Bolas alliance to Bolas. And that we will see Feather finally get a card in the unnamed third set.
The flavor text of sinister sabotage actually indicates that the Dimir are not pro-Bolas, which makes sense considering that they want the plane to themselves and a planeswalker dragon undermining these efforts and taking over instead would be pretty catastrophic for them. Big bads with aspirations of total control rarely work well together.
My guesses would be that the guilds on Bolas' side are Golgari, Orzhov, Izzet (partially), Boros and Rakdos (both perhaps).
I wonder if they color balance the sides.
He has Golgari and Izzet.
Let's play this out... Each color appears in four Guilds - e.g. black is present in Dimir, Golgari, Orzhov, and Rakdos. In order to color balance each faction, the Bolas faction and the Defenders of Ravnica Faction would each have five Guilds that collectively have each color represented twice.
Baseless speculation time: The Bolas Guilds are Golgari, Orzhov, Boros, Simic, and Izzet (once Ral takes over). The Defender Guilds would then be Dimir, Azorius, Rakdos, Gruul, and Selesnya.
Bolas and Ugin being twins was one of the better retcons in recent memory. Magic Story will always have problems in the long run since they can only plan ahead so much. It's not like a comic where it's just an illustrated story - in Magic, the card game is the main component and the story has to adapt to it. As far as I can tell, Magic's storyline has always been pretty bumpy. So if that's how it's going to be, I'd rather read free articles on the mothership and adjust my expectations accordingly rather than buying books, expecting more and being let down in the end.

No Offense wasn't that obvious? I think we all expected Nicol and Niv to throwdown...Powerful Dragons don't seem to get a long as a general rule.
The question was which guilds side with who.

And Planeswalker Masterpieces...so Ravnica gets Masterpieces but Domnaria doesnt...SMFH.
Where did you find this?

Saves Bolas and Jace for the final set.

Trailer. I think the Dimir is on our side...
Or that’s what they want us to think?

I assume Bolas will have the three guilds that make up his tricolors. That leaves Golgari and I guess Orzhov to balance the colors.

It's interesting to see the Dimir not being just the bad guys for once. A common enemy really brings people together, huh?
IE Story Ideas like Bolas and Ugin actually being twins should not be according to MARO last minute story decisions.
