Obviously not having art and flavor text makes it a bit tougher to piece together, but having so many card names, etc. should give us some semblance of an idea, no?
Still disappointed that this isn't the set we see Phyrexia return in. New Phyrexia was so long ago, it's time...
Well, we have a new planeswalker swearing the Oath and a Bolas-themed card, so I dare say it's going to be more of what we've been seeing recently: hang around, deal with dangling subplots (Liliana's demons), strengthen bonds, get some character development, recruit new allies for the Gatewatch, and interfere in Bolas' minor/side plans while preparing for the final showdown with him. Which is totally fine by me because I personally love stories told this way.
I think that pretty much will cover it. Terriblething is we could have already guessed that long ago because it is the SOP

Well from what we got when Martha Wells was revealed as the writer for Dominaria, we know that Lili and Gideon are working together to kill Belzenlok, who runs the new Cabal. Somehow this will involve at least Gideon ending up on the good ship Weatherlight with Jaya. And we know that Jhoira is the captain of said ship they will probably link up with her, Karn, and Teferi. Since he has an Oath card Teferi will join the gatewatch since he has a history with Bolas. Karn may not join immediately but may still help out and get the Gatewatch to help deal with Phyrexia, at which point he may join. And Chandra is... there.
I predict we'll meet up with Weatherlight II early on since they'll need a means of conveyance. Plus when going up against a evil organization, having some backup would be nice.
I hope it won't be that linear but based on the name of the storyline spotlights, it will be mostly a Liliana story:
1. The non-jace gatewatch gathers on dominaria, but there are tensions because of Lilianas "betrayal". There is a Broken Bond.
2. They may or may not travel together for a while, but when Liliana again tries to manipulate the group to help her kill Demonlord Belzenlok there will be a fallout, forcing her to go her own way in a Final Parting. This one may have something to do with her brother instead, we don't know yet what the card does.
3. Liliana manages to kill her final nemesis on her own to Settle the Score.
4. Her win doesn't have the results she hoped. It might even backfire on her in some way. Not wanting to return to the gatewatch to admit her mistake, she goes to the only other party she knows for help. She ends In Bolas's Clutches.
Sideplot: the remaining gatewatch recruits Teferi and acquires a boat.
Epilogue: Jace is alive and back.
Sounds feasible. the only caveat is that Martha said Gideon would be Accompanying Liliana on her journey to rid herself of the final demon. That seems to fly in the face of the Gatewatch ostracizing her.

I think pretty much the opposite will happen with Liliana and the gatewatch. I think Liliana and the gatewatch will end rebounding (I think thats whats going to happen with her and Gideon) and they all together take down Belzenlok (since the Dominaria characters might want to stop the cabal anyways), only for the Raven Man to take control of Liliana and gives her to Bolas/Bolas somehow gains control of Liliana, having her unwilling serve him. It would fit into Liliana story in a nicely tragic way, she has found people she could really care about (maybe helped by her finally facing her past with her brother, the last person she healthily cared for) and is freed from her demons...only to now be a pawn of Bolas used to fight the people she now cares about.

Well, nobody said Gideon was smart. (Pledging devotion to gods on a plane ruled by Bolas, when he of all people should know you don't want to mess with gods.)
I'm actually surprised. I had the story pegged for Liliana dying while fighting Belzenlok. I suppose she still could be taken over by the Veil or something.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

I thought Jace planeswalked onto Weatherlight already, given he aimed for something traveling extremely fast and he's standing in the slime left by Slimefoot, the Stowaway when he boarded that vehicle and sees Gideon and Jaya.

I think someone said that Jace arrives near the end of the story. He was on Ixalan for a few months.
Demonic Pact's fourth ability specifically says "You lose the game". If anybody thinks Liliana is going to come out of her pacts in good fortune then they haven't been paying attention. This will not end well.
