Ya it's the first thought that came to mind when they abolished the block system yesterday. Probably wanted to do a return to Dominaria and Ravnica but there was too much material for 2 sets. I hope they do. I love the diversity of that plane
The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
Oh, you should read up on the history of that globe - it's a real treasure. Though I always imagined it... bigger. Like that's half the size the globe we had at home was and we didn't really have a reason to own one to begin with.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Will they have diverse art this time, or will everything look too similar? They should, at the least, let artists of old do most of the cards for this set.

May Quinton Hoover rest in peace.
I loved his art too. Tragic Poet is my favorite card.
Please let Rebecca Guay make a whole slew of cards for this. There's been enough time since C16 to see her art is highly successful in MTG. Her lands were the top 5 sellers of the set.
I'm super excited for this. I suspected ever since they mentioned that Ajani was going to Dominaria to recruit allies. I will very likely buy a ton of this set. I hope we check in on lots of different parts of the world: Sarpadia, Otaria, Jamuraa, the remains of Tolaria, Benalia, Keld...yes, I'm jazzed.
Liliana I bet will play a role in this story. They been setting up seeing the origin 5 going home, with Nissa, Chandra and now Liliana and Theros beening the next most returnable plane after Ravnica.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
The whole pirates+dinosaur thing of Ixalan is not really resonating with me, but as someone who started playing in 1995 this really gets me going. Also, Garfield himself is on the design team of this set and every set he has been on so far has knocked it out of the park.

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.

Technically Nissa was already home when she joined the Gatewatch.
But yeah, I can see them all heading back to their home planes at some point, which means Jace will find his way back to Vryn at some point.
What about those of us who love Ravnica, its people or its guilds? I don't particularly like Theros for many reasons, but you'd never hear me complain about returning there as I'm aware that there are a number of people who do like the place.
Also, for someone who loves Jace so much, you seem to have a pretty irrational hatred for one of the planes that are most pivotal to his character.
I'm curious what Dominaria is like these days. I haven't read the book series since they were new, but between Invasion, Onslaught, and Time Spiral blocks, who's still alive and what business is still unresolved?
I wonder how they are going to handle the bazillion of races and in some cases subraces. I mean red alone has dwarves, goblins, orcs and viashino plus keldons which are visually distinct from other humans.
I wonder where we're visiting on Magic's 25th, people.

I personally would be unironically into a still-living Squee, having gone crazy, being the Big Bad with delusions of being Evincar of Dominaria.
