Gahh I left off so many locations on my makeshift map. Including Mt. Velus which would be on the Theros "Italy"
Don't sweat it. I will compile a complete list of locations before I start working on the map.
@ everyone else: Yes, I am still here, and yes, I am still working on maps. I've just been taking a break from posting because of ENM story burnout.

In my head-map the provinces were arranged in a slightly different way, but I don't find anything in your map that contradicts established info. The only tiny mistake it is in the spelling of Jenrik's name (without the C).
I'm looking forward the maps to come. And I'd propose Lorwyn/Shadowmoor to be added to the short list.
EDIT: Another spelling mistake: "Efallen" instead of "Effalen".
Gah. I thought I had caught that. Thanks for pointing out. I'll post a fixed version in a few.
There are a couple different ways the provinces could be arranged, but this is what worked best for me. Broadly, we know:
- Gavony and Kessig border Stensia, but Nephalia does not. Gavony borders Kessig. Nephalia borders Kessig and Gavony. Gavony is north of Nephalia.
- Kessig and Gavony are highlands, Stensia is mountainous, and Nephalia is lowland.
- Nephalia has easy access to the sea, but Gavony has a coastline as well. It consists of several-thousand foot cliffs, making them impassable.
I used this with a few other hints and tidbits to arrive at the continental region shown. Most of the rest is from the PW guides and the Art Book, but some things, like Vess Manor, came from the stories.
Lorwyn/Shadowmoor is going to be difficult. There are no PW guides for the plane, and a return is quite unlikely, meaning no Art Book. Is there a guide or geographical reference somewhere that I can use as reference? I found a survival guide, but what else is there? If I can get a good enough idea of what it looks like, I'll ad it to the list. Note that I'm probably going to do Tarkir next.
If I remember correctly, Stensia has a very small stretch of remote coastline as well. Also, I'm interested to see how Kaladesh would look! Locations I can find:
Bomat- a port district, located at the intersection of Kaladesh's three major rivers Freejam- district of aviaries with many towers and observatories Jajeet Observatory- a tower, containing a public observatory and many private laboratories, in Freejam League of Aeronauts Headquarters- located in Freejam Weldfast- A district surrounding an aetherhub Hall of Mechanists- in Weldfast Eleven Bridges- A large market district near the Dukhara Canal named for its eleven bridges, many open air markets are on the bridges themselves Aradara Station- Train terminal in the Eleven Bridges district containing a statue garden Bastion of the Honorable- Consulate headquarters, located in the Eleven Bridges district Greenwheel- A district containing many climate controlled domes Narnam Greenhouse- In Greenwheel, possibly dangerous? The Zoo- A 100-acre garden filled with animalesque constructs Kujar- A wealthy and green-filled district, home to many consuls Giants' Walk- An artists' colony Ovalchase Racetrack- A racetrack for vehicle races Embraal- An industrial area home to rival inventor gangs The Akhara- An arena for public executions Consuls' Foundry- A foundry for production of consulate automatons The Prakhata Club- A nightclub owned by Gonti The Dhund- A high-security prison underneath a system of black markets Gupha Penitentiary- Another prison Kohali Prison- Another prison The Night Markets- A system of black markets that constantly moves The Cowl- A wild greenbelt home to many renegade Shaila's Claim- A greenbelt not under consulate control Aetherflux Reservoir- The city's main aetherhub Ghirapur Orrery- A large observatory
Devra Cliffs- A system of cliffs rich in valuable metals Lathnu- a city high in the Devra Cliffs, only reachable by steep climb or vertical rail track
Panka, Cambi, and Maranjapur- Cities, once farm villages, that are now devoted to the aerowright industry, with many hangars, workshops, and runways
Peema- A massive aether-infused forest of tens of thousands of acres Bunurat- A small town in the wilds, at least partially burned down by Baral The Aethersphere- Presumably in the sky, is this mappable? Greenwheel- A forest or greenbelt somewhere on Kaladesh, home to elves. Vahadar- A city or region of Kaladesh, home to elves. Possibly a city in Vahd? May also simply be a demonym for those from Vahd.
Aside from wanting a Tarkir art book in general, I'm even more disappointed they didn't do it. Your maps are outstanding and I can't wait to see Kaladesh and Tarkir. I'm especially hopeful for Tarkir because I want to run my Pathfinder players through that world.

I do indeed hope to make a Tarkir map at some point. I have a rough idea of how the plane looks, but I don't want to make the map until we get an artbook. I will start working on Kaladesh once the art book is released, and I'm caught up on the (rather pathetic) story.

Sadly, I don't think we are getting an art book for the plane. At least, not until they do a "Return to" set and it seemed that they said all they wanted to in the fictions. Still there is always hope.
Don't know if they are having issues with your image hosting site, but I am getting error 404 on every link save for the ultra high resolution map of Zendikar.
Yeah, the website has been having some issues. I'm considering switching hosts.
A couple of spelling things I found on the Innistrad map:
- The river in Nephalia should be the Ospid, not the Opsid
- The pass near Markov Manor should be Kruin Pass, not Kurin Pass
EDIT: For Zendikar,
- Halimar Sea, not Hamilar Sea
- Oran-Rief, not Oran-Reif
Thanks, will fix.

Oh hey, this is super cool of you to do! Looking forward to seeing more maps come out. There's so many planes where I'd imagine seeing the maps would actually help make the storylines make more sense Thank you for taking the time to do this!

Thanks to the OP for making these maps, especially the map of Zendikar. I too have been scouring the internet to find a map of Zendikar for a possible future RPG campaign (in FateCore) and been found wanting, in both the level of detail and accuracy to the source material. That is, of course, until I found your map very recently. I did draw my own map after reading cards, wikis, and WotC articles so can definitely understand the hard work that goes into making a Zendikar map.
Besides the spelling errors pointed out in a previous comment and a few differences interpretation (my continents are in different but equally valid spots), I have a few tiny nitpicks:
1. There is somewhere that says that Bala Ged and Akoum are connected by "underground rivers" so I'm not sure if that means they're supposed to be connected in some way above ground/above ocean. I just put them close to each other and you have them somewhat close too so it's not a big deal.
2. Why is Tazeem so far away from everything else? I kind of feel like it should be a lot closer to everything, especially with the importance of Sea Gate and expeditionary houses. I'm guessing Emeria got drawn in the corner and so Tazeem got drawn next to Emeria. I did some very rough editing on a downloaded copy of your map to slide the continent west and south to be closer to other continents. Not too major, just bugs me a little.
3. Really the only actual complaint I have with regards to accuracy is that you have the Umara river flowing the wrong way. Halimar is the source of the river according to what I read which means the river flows from Halimar to the ocean rather than from the mountains to Halimar. However, this makes very little sense unless you assume the Sea Gate wall dams the water high enough to send water through a whole river systems with several waterfalls. So, I guess it makes a lot more (real world geography/physics) sense to have Halimar be the destination of the river rather than the source.
Anyway, thanks again and I may just use your map if I run an RPG in Zendikar.
I made an account just because of your fantastic maps! I'm a D&Der and haven't played MtG since the early 90s, but I love the detail Wizards puts into their settings. There are only two (IMO) oversights: they don't tie their MtG settings to D&D, and they don't make maps. Fortunately, you have provided the second, and with the Plane Shift series they are starting to do the first. Your maps have far more detail than other efforts I've seen online, such that I plan to use your Zendikar map for my Zendikar-based home game. Thanks!
The only criticism I can muster is a minor spelling error: in the bottom corner, it should be "Aerial". Keep up the fantastic work! Also, any thought to colorizing them? Or letting someone else do it?
Love your work!
I'm planning on starting a D&D campaign on Zendikar, following the main story line as much as possible, and am planning on using your map as my main source, and then after that playing Curse of Inni"strahd" using your Innistrad map to then finish of the Emerakul part once that's done.
Is there any chance of getting a "full" map of Zendikar, where the continents running off the page are complete?
Glamdring, your Innistrad map is absolutely gorgeous, but I do have a quick question for you. The Art Book says that the Nearheath in Gavony comprises "the fertile, rolling hills within a few miles of Thraben" but according to your scale it appears that Videns, Wittal, and Effalen are 50+ miles from Thraben. The scale of the map is quite different as a result. Was this a creative decision or was there some other factor taken into consideration? It's obviously not a major issue and creatively I'm not opposed to it but Gavony appears much larger than I had envisioned as a result.

Yeah, the above is one of a few issues with the Innistrad map (from the Mikaeus the Unhallowed preview article, the map is at least twice the size it should be). Some of the towns/landmarks are out of place relative to each other, some are missing, and the arrangement of the provinces is likely off ("A Gaze Blank and Pitiless" tells us that Gavony is south of Stensia). Still, the map is absolutely lovely and more accurate than the other Innistrad maps out there.
I guess we have a new remote area that can be added to Innistrad with the Davriel story. Somewhere on the edges, Stensia seeming most likely as there was a Markov lord over the manor at some point.
I believe the approaches are supposed to be part of Kessig but I would guess near Stensia as well do to the previous lord being a Markov vampire. Of course, Markov vampires are found throughout Innistrad so it doesn't have to be near Stensia. It also supposed to be one of the most remote areas but with about 3 villages.
There is also supposed to be a crossways near the Gatstaf Grotto, which complicates your map of Gatstaf. Where does this crossways come from if Gatstaf is at the end of a line. Perhaps there can be a road that leads off to the Approaches?
I've been looking for a map of Zendikar, and everyone is saying really good things about these maps. But, none of the links, except for the first Innistrad map, are working for me. Does anybody know how to access these maps?
Don't sweat it. I will compile a complete list of locations before I start working on the map.
