Lately, I haven't enjoyed the stories without main characters (Planeswalkers)and have avoided commenting since nobody likes repeated negative comments. A lot of that had to do with failure to advance the main plot line. However, today's story I found to be both entertaining and informative. A few holes in the main plot have been filled in, served up with a side of refreshing humor. I wouldn't want every story not centered on PWs to be in this format, but this one was a solid success. I found myself wanting a few more letters by the time I reached the last one and maybe a few more chuckles too.
Would somebody mind linking the story? It's not up on the American site yet.

Like others, I very much enjoyed the letter format and the contrast of Geralf's stoic charade of maturity against Gisa's jovial and child-like nature (funny how she even uses incorrect punctuation in her letters, kissing several question marks. At least, I hope that was intentional). I am a little sad though that it wasn't confirmed if Geralf's Masterpiece actually was created out of the remains of Griselbrand's body as per several Internet theories. Would have liked that confirmation.
Anyone else think Shadows is going to be longer than the 10 story entire we got for Battle and Oath? It almost has to be with this being #9, right?

Vorthos-player with way too much time on his hands and a love of thematic decks.
EDH - Yes, Each One is Named After a Song. I love tying music to my decks.
More than anything I'd like to know what exactly they're supposed to be building - Drownyard Temple shows the cryptoliths (which Nahiri makes) and a shipwreck, which I'm assuming was already there. What else does Nahiri need? Some kind of shrine or building? If so isn't that the real temple?

Well BtZ kinda had more then 10 stories with those four set up stories we got focusing on Gideon, Jace, Chandra and Nissa. Plus they took two weeks took off for commander stories and I'm wondering if we will a break when Eternal Masters comes out. So in theory we could be getting 7 more stories.

I really enjoyed how Geralf tries so hard to be a mature, eloquent sophisticate, but even thinking about his sister makes the whole thing immediately fall apart.
So gisa sings and whistles. That is how her magic works. Geralf was a lousy singer, his voice couldnt raise ghouls, so he studied and scienced.
Also Lily had a flong with Geralf
Am i the only who thinks geralf is quite handsome?

MtG is where you can hate white players or black players, and still not be racist.

LMAO I just can't!
"Here is a foot covered with gout. It reminded me of your personality."
AHHHHHH
Damn Gisa got vicious, fast. That's so dreadful. Then again Geralf was being arrogant with her. How could he skip out on their duels and pretend to have better things to do? :3

I love how Geralf tries to pretend being uninterested in their sibling banter, and after a long and sophisticated explanation as to why he is above their games and on to better things, he mails her a gouty foot. He'll never escape his loathing for the sister, who is a complete mirror image of everything he's trying to be, and constantly ruins his plans. It's amusing to me how she's a constant reminder of his past and how broken his family always was, by the hints laced throughout the letters, and how Gisa is a product of that (right down to her singing talents manifesting as necromantic magic). She's his manically annoying sister and his dark past trying to haunt and impede him all at once. It was amusing to me how long it took Geralf to respond to her too.
EPISODE 10: THE LUNARCH INQUISITION
Thalia and Odric, the most devout members of the Church of Avacyn, find themselves on opposing sides of a conflict that threatens to tear apart the fabric of Innistrad's society.
It's great to see that so many characters are getting scene time besides the 'walkers this time around.
The Wizards Facebook page referred to G&G as teenagers in their link to the article. That's not correct, is it? I thought they were older.
I think they were supposed to be 18 in the original story, or something like that. They should be about 20 now.
Honestly, this is the best Innistrad story yet. Absolutely perfect in execution, and totally hilarious. Oh how I've missed the twins. Good job Wizards. A+
Also, did anyone else get the reference of Ludevic's last name?

Yep I did. I also think his name is a reference to the Ludovico technique from a Clockwork Orange.
Yup, this one was definitely a good story, cool fun characterization for the twins and Ludevic and some hole filling for the main narrative (we now know Gisa is the one controlling the ghouls that Jace saw). I'm pretty sure they are just acting as labor to build the temple rather than another structure. Maybe because the cryptoliths at the drownyard are so large Nahiri wanted help making them?
Also, for next week's story I'm really hoping both Odric and Thalia make it out alive. I'm assuming Odric is the one on the side of the inquisition, because we know Thalia starts the order of St. Traft, but I can't see him going along w/ the angel's massacre, and feel lie the story will end w/ him defecting to Thalia's side. Don't we already know that Grete abandons the Lunarchs from Avacyn, the purifier?

Gisa and Geralf are amazing, but what happened to ludvec?

Nothing, I suppose. Geralf asked for some advice and Ludevic sent a zombie with a bunch of notes for Geralf to study. Nothing implies they met. People like speculating that Geralf killed/will kill Ludevic and make a zombie out of him, but if anything this article demonstrates Necromancers/Ghoulcallers/Stitchers tend to have a rather cordial relationship with each other... they even had parties back then (probably a lot less frequent and a lot more grim than the Vampire ones, but they still have them).
The flavor text of Prized Amalgam implies they would meet, although I won't be too surprised if they missed out on that detail (not the first time flavor text led to the wrong direction anyway).
I knew it, whatever was at the Drownyard was done by Nahiri via "contracting"... I thought Ludevic, Gisa and Geralf was in it together, but it seems that only Gisa is involved and the other two are on their own business. Still, I got the general idea right.

I didn't enjoy the last story in the letter forms so much. And I'm not really that much interested in the zombie siblings. Nahiri came off strangely weird in Gisa's tales too.
Can you guys imagine if Innistrad has smart phones? I can imagine Gisha would be busy doing selfie with zombies and Nahiri, and the twins would send endless text messages without sleep at each other.
Hm, that ought to be a trend. MtG characters with smart phones... "The Gatewatch post-war selfie over Titan's dead body"
More Gisa and Geralf.
More Innistrad letters.
more explanation of what the Heck Nahiri has been doing.
More Ordic.
I can't find anything to complain about.
