Thank you! I think this is also the place to express a sentiment I matured after reading the Legends I cycle. I think that the author Emery did a good job: after all, he was basically asked to turn a 50 pages long comic into a novel of 900 pages and I managed pretty well (with obviously necessary digression if you want to lengthen the basic story). More importantly, he fleshed out the south-western part of Jamuraa, which remained completeluy unexplored till that point.
What I don'tunderstand is why Wizards asked him to rewrite a story already written... couldn't they took the opportunity to flesh out other characters previously unheard of, like they did with the second cycle? Moreover, it is pretty evident that there wasn't almost any communication between Wizards, Emery first and McCough later, hence the infamous reuse of the same characters (like Tor Wauku and Xira Axien) that created only more confusion, instead of straighting things.
Last, it is pretty sad to see how the Legends Cycle 1 and 2, were pretty quickly forgotten even by the people at Wizards. Around five or six years later, with the Grand Creature Update, they ignored every description of the characters given in the novel and made Hazezon a warrior (instead of a Wizards), Hunding a Human (instead of a Dwarf), Jamine Boreal a simple human (instead of a Druid), and even made Lady Caleria a Human (she is clearly an elf, just look at those ears!). A huge confirmation that (at least at the time) Wizards really didn't care much about the story and the lore, and saw the novel as only cash-grab to capitalize on the somewhat fan-favored characters. I hope things are changing!
Okay since my books are in storage..can someone who has The Invasion Cycle remind me how the Primevals were dealt with during that block? Didn't Rith at least get released instead of killed?
Rith, as a mortal, was last seen on the inside of a Magnigoth Treefolk. Crovax was resealed in the tar pit after the Weatherlight crashed into him. Treva and Dromar went missing. Darigaaz, of course, nobly killed himself and has seemingly been reincarnated recently.
Here is a rough timeline, keeping in mind a timeline of all history for every plane is impossible.
Does anyone have a storyline timeline?
I started reading the story at KTK and I'm really confused as to how much time has elapsed between the start of the whole story and to where we are now.
Just started reading the newest installment of the story on the wizards website and Jhoira's there. My assumption was that all the original dominaria stuff was ancient history.
Was hoping for a timeline of... Well.... Everything!
My friend who has the Lorwyn-Shadowmoor block novels sent me a page which she says is one of the final pages of the block's story. It alludes to Oona still being alive or possibly being able to return at some point? Does anyone have more information on that?

Maralen was a copy of Oona that rebelled, and took over after Oona was defeated. It's possible she 'becomes' Oona again for real.
I need some information, because I have a little gap in my knowledge about MTG lore. How was named green and white Numen? Why does Numens reincarnated? Can someone explain me why Lowallyn becomes Ixidor, Averru becomes a city called Sanctum, and so on?

There was no Green or White Numen, the other 3 betrayed those 2 during the power draining process so they never actually became Numen. Lowallyn didn't have the ability to reincarnate, only to take over a mind already driven mad. Averru bound they essence to the city through a series of runes so they would live forever, this failed when the other two attacked his city. As for the so on, I'm not sure. You are asking about the events of Legions. Do you mean everything after that til now? Or only the events of Scourge the immediate next book?
What should i read to catch up to war of the spark?I know this has probably been asked before but i googled around and i can't seem to find the right answer. The answer i mostly found is read from Khans of Tarkir an on but i've been reading to some of the stories and they really really don't seem relevant at all. Some did like the ones with Sarkhan but i listened now to way of the mantis and while a really cool story it has nothing to do with the main plot. So i know this is alot to ask but if someone could pinpoint the relevant magic stories only so i can catch up to war of the spark before it comes out that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
In another thread, people were referencing a story about Vraska and Isperia meeting up.. post-ixalan but pre-War of the Spark, as Vraska is the guild master. I don't know where they read this story. Can anyone point in the right direction? I read everything they post on the WOTC story page, but I don't recall this event, unless I somehow missed it.

They're referring to what was shown in the Guilds of Ravnica story spotlights and what's discussed in the Ravnica Art Book.
Hello, I’ve recently started catching back up with the story and am having trouble with plot here.
I am reading the chronicles of Bolas and they are traveling to Ugin’s grave but all of the dragonlords are around and in charge? I thought the khans were in control of tarkir before fate got reforged. Thanks for any help!
The story is set after Sarkhan went back in time and saved Ugin's life. Thus the Dragonlords are in charge and the Khans are dead or hiding their former identity (like Yasowa).
Though Magic is a strategy game, an intricate storyline underlies the cards released in each expansion. On the cards, elements of this multiverse are shown in the card art and through quotations and descriptions on the bottom of most cards (called flavor text).

What Jay13x said. Look at the art of Serra's Sanctum and you’ll see it.
