You don't think that the flavor text about priests of the god of horizons refers to the Agent of Horizons on which that text appears, given that the text refers to those priests having the power to "walk unseen" and the agent's ability is to become unblockable?

If it helps, we got this snippet: So we can expect WB Demons under the service of Athreos?
I doubt that, considering that Therosian Demons are some of the most amoral beings on the plane. I would expect Demons (if there will be any in future) to be either R/B or U/B, but since we just had a block with a Demon sub-theme, I think we're unlikely to see many. We might see Harpies filling this role for the time being instead, as it is more flavorful.
Quote from Planeswalkers Guide to Theros Part Three »
Some souls in the Underworld come to despise their afterlives, growing more and more hateful over time. The most malicious, the ones whose hate reaches the level of true evil, become demons. The transformation occurs quickly, in an incredibly painful vortex of black-mana energy. Once it is complete, the demon can, with great effort and risk, fly back over the Rivers That Ring the World and return to the realm of mortals. Demons that survive the journey use their "second lives" in a variety of ways. Some take up residence in remote places, causing animals to flee the area and plants to blacken and die. Others wander, finding opportunities to torment the living along the way.

Do we know it was a comment made by a creative member? It said "developer note" but it could also reference the phase of set creation the comment was made.
I am not ruling out demons in WB, but I wouldn't give too much thought for a comment that most likely wasn't even made by a creative member.
I'm genuinely surprised anyone sees anything other than a gorgon. I mean, there are two obvious snakes on the left and the face even has a forked tongue.

The gorgon is in white. The helmet and dragon are in black over the top of her.
Added some information from the planeswalkers guild to born of the gods.

So, if xenagos can become a god, can the gods become mortal?
I'm going to say "most likely no". Even if there's no inherent "holiness" to these gods they're still living enchantments, and it's at best hard to make beings actually made of magic into something physical.
I did a search of this forum and thread for every instance of 'Mogis' and 'minotaur god', so forgive me if this was answered in the last 14 pages without including his name.
This way he'd be the counterpart for Mogis, who is a Minotaur, also an ox-human hybrid. After all, they're both the twins of war.
I've been wondering this with my friend, who is very excited for Mogis. Is Mogis confirmed to actually be a minotaur? I know he's certainly affiliated with them by the cards that carry his name in flavor text. hairlessThoctar posted this in the Planeswalker's Guide to Born of the Gods thread of this forum:
Even in the best of times, Mogis, the god of slaughter, was always looking for a fight in the mortal realm. The recent upheaval upset him more than the other gods, and this escalated tensions between the humans and the minotaurs, his favored race.
Was there info on the Wizards site that I missed?

What's the lore on this? Looks like Abhorrent Overlord is the only actual demon card we have so far.

I'm seeing a dragon, a human face, and a helmet.
Never noticed the helmet.
