For the record, has it ever been explicitly confirmed that the lady in the innistrad art is ACTUALLY Liliana? I mean, its hard to deny the resemblance, but was it ever stated for sure? For example, every artwork we have seen of liliana so far has shown the curse markings on her skin, and this one shows no such patterns. I'm not saying its not her, I'm just wondering if we know for certain yet.
Liliana's markings only show when she's actively using mana. That's why all card art shows them, because we only see her when she's casting a spell or otherwise in "battle mode." When she isn't casting anything her skin is normal.
A coincidentally similar-looking character with the same headband and holding a chain-link garment, but who isn't Liliana, is quite frankly absurd.
1. I'm sure that none of the Titans would make an appearance as they're all dead. The last survivors died during the mending. The only reason why I am even saying this is because I saw a post somewhere, wherein, this guy is mentioning the possibility of one of Urza's recruited Titan's making an appearance on future sets.
2. I think Sarkhan Vol would make an appearance as he was the one tasked (by Bolas) in acquiring the artifact.
3. A new version of Lilliana.
4. It's very possible that a new planeswalker might be introduced.
5. I can sense a lot of necromantic, vampiric and demonic stuffs going on in this set.
6. UW decks and those with red ruled from Zendikar to New Phyrexia. Expect black or green to become dominant this time.
Innistrad story so far and how it fits into the big picture:
Lilliana will be a big key in this set because one of the demons she is bound to is Griselbrand and she will try to destroy him as he is released from the helvault with avacyn.
Go to the next plane. SHe still has two more demons. Now that Gris is dead, she has no reason to remain on Innistrad.
2. Will anyone stop her?
The Veil will probably be her downfall. After she kills the last demon, creative will either retire her character or find a new story arch. Since she's assocaited with Jace, i don't think they'd just drop her. I'd imagine after she finishes off the last demon, the Veil overpowering her seems like a natural progression for her character.
You also have the Raven man from her webcomic that could prove to be a puppetmaster.

This brings up two questions
1. What will she do after she kills Griselbrand?
2. Will anyone stop her?
