Yea, when he was about to die from the poison Tezzeret gave him after leaving the cell, Liliana summoned one to suck his blood and get rid of all the poison. It almost killed him.
I dont know about Nicol Bolas. I mean, what IS the average life span of a Planeswalking Dragon? Maybe he's still a baby.
Interesting point ( I finnaly need to get this Book does anyone have new Infos if it will be realesed in other Languages) But there we could argue if the vampire has the abbilitiy to only suck Blood and don´t transform their targets like I´ve seen in a movie or it was due his PW Powers.
It would be funny Bolas is from age a baby wants to counquer or destroy anything then his Dady comes by and give him home arrest
^ Unfortunately we do not know if that still applies to planeswalkers since they are mortal. The nature of the spark has changed, who knows if he will be a living vampire because of it. I could see the vampire blood/curse/infection taking him over and rying to kill him but, since he has a spark, the spark allows him to live with the characteristics of the vampire.
Are you guys basing this off of one card, Vampirism? Trying to look back I don't see a single example of vampires creating another vampire in the storyline continuum so we really don't know how it happens. The only vampire in the storie sI can think of is the one in Mirrodin
If there is nothing concrete to support the argument that Vampires are different in the MTG world, why assume that? I highly doubt when Sengir Vampire was designed they had worked out the intrinsics of becoming a vamipre to be different in the MTG realm than every other notion of vampirism. Vampires are Vampires; they bite you, if you dont die, you become one.
As far as the Vampire part was concerned, I was always under the impression that Liliana knew how to deal with that sort of thing anyway, being a necromancer. Plus, it did seem she kind of "likes him", if you know what I'm saying, so I doubt she'd let Jace turn into a vampire. Then again, she might have a thing for vampires.
As far as Crovax and Mirri went: Crovax became a vampire due to a curse, but he flat out killed Mirri. I don't recall her ever turning into a vampire because of that. Her Planar Chaos card doesn't count, because that was still the result of the curse Selenia was carrying like a common cold.

Yeah, I really do think she likes him. When Liliana walked over to Kamigawa to talk to Tezz about Jace's friends, she hesitated, and was considering stopping the whole thing. She didn't because it was a matter of survival.

Mirri took the curse meant for Crovax in that reality only. In the standard reality, she was toast.
Actually I think Jace turned to the light side at the end of Agents of Artifice. He regretted all the evil deeds he committed in Tezzeret's name, and he didn't give the evil elder dragon the control of Tezz's organization because he knew he'd abuse it. He leaves with a noble (though extremely naïve) purpose - to save his old friend Liliana from the demons.
Jace knew which "he" would abuse it? It could be Bolas, or Jace.
Plus, he's gained access to white mana for healing abilities, and can at the very least fix near-catastrophic blood loss.
Well, thinking about it, both of them. Jace didn't want Tezzeret's knowledge even if he could have it because he believed such power is corrupting. And neither did he want to allow Bolas gain control of the organization because he knew the dragon was evil since he saw his mind during their first encounter. Add the healing abilities to it, and you get a WU planeswalker...
Actually, I got the impression that Jace did something very... unique in regards to the healing:
He made an illusiory spell that became real. You could be right, but I don't have the book right now to doublecheck the (iirc) peculiar wording used to describe his use of healing. (A friend is borrowing my copy.)
No, he's calling upon his connections to the plains around his elven friend's house to fix the drastic blood loss. He's simply mimicking his friend's magics that helped him out greatly when he got shot.
So, if it is anything other than calling upon white mana to heal, it's a Twincast
