Not sure if this belongs here or in general but...I just read the new Cardboard Crack and it reminded me of this event
So I sat down with my opponent at an FNM and they separate there deck then put it in order and give 2 shuffles and present for cut. I learned awhile ago if you shuffle about 14 times after a mana weave you end up stacking the deck with either most lands on top or bottom. So I did this and it worked, now this is where I think I messed up, cause I explained to my opponent what just happened and he accused me of cheating. What should I have done?
1. Mana Weaving is either cheating (if you don't shuffle enough to randomize your deck) or just a waste of time.
2. Conciously using any technique to affect opponent's deck in certain way (when it's supposed to be randomized) is cheating.
In this situation 2 shuffles and a cut is not enough to randomize the deck, so you could call a judge.
If I were judge at that FNM and knew you 2 were not the type to cheat, I would present you both with warning - explaining that Mana Weaving is pointless, because the deck still needs to be properly randomized after that (maybe pile shuffling instead..?), and that you can't "toy" with an opponent's deck.
TL;DR: You should've called a judge as soon as you saw him do insufficient shuffling, and - first of all - don't do the land screwing.

1) There are no Warnings at Regular REL. Both player's should be instructed on the proper way of handling the situation, but no penalties should be given (unless someone is Cheating).
2) Pile shuffling is not an acceptable way to randomize a deck. Players do it as an easy way to count the deck, but it's not considered shuffling.

Cards do what they say they do. No more. No less.
1) Yeah, by "warning" I mean warning them (for similar thing on Competetive REL would be issued at least Game Loss), not issuing them a "warning". You got a point.
2) This could be replacement for mana weaving, not shuffling in general.
