There's a chance this scenario could occur today, so I need to find this out in advance.
Let's say I have two copies of Parallel Lives on the battlefield. If I cast Lingering Souls, do I get six tokens (because each copy of Parallel Lives triggers from the single Lingering Souls), or do I get eight tokens (because one copy of Parallel Lives triggers after the other one does)?
Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give me.

Eight tokens. Replacement effects are applied to each event they effect. If multiple replacement effects attempt to replace a single occurrence then the affected player chooses which replacement effect to apply and then applies any other replacement effects that are still relevant. In this case it means each parallel lives doubles the amount of tokens that would enter the battlefield.
Asking people to remove quotes in their signatures is tyranny! If I can't say something just because someone's feelings are hurt then no one would ever be able to say anything! Political correctness is stupid.
