Hey, I have a question. It focuses on Goldmeadow Stalwart. I'm pretty sure that I read on another thread here that additional costs for spells may be paid in any order, but I was wondering when those costs are paid in respect to the casting of the spell (you can't cast a spell without first tapped land for mana, for instance). So, could you tap a Plains and reveal a Stalwart in your hand, and then cast the same Stalwart?
No. By the time you pay costs, the card is on the stack. You cannot reveal the card you are casting... it would seem like a redundant ability otherwise.
Whilst costs can be paid in any order the first part of casting a spell is placing the spell/card onto the stack. By the time you come to reveal the card for the alternate cost Goldmeadow stalwart has left your hand so can't be revealed to reduce its own cost.
You will have to reveal another Kithkin or pay the additional 3.
