Greetings, helpful rules gurus of the Magic Rulings forum!
Let's say that I control an Eye of the Storm with no spells exiled yet. I then proceed to cast Brain Freeze. Now, my initial assumption is that the copy that's being cast would create one storm copy (since the counteredexiled Brain Freeze was still cast) and mill six cards.
Now, here's my dilemma. If I cast a second Brain Freeze in the same turn, how many copies would I get? My assumption is that I would receive four copies from the first Brain Freeze and five from the second, thus milling another 27 cards.
(Upon casting the second Brain Freeze, one more is added to the storm count, Brain Freeze is exiled, and I cast two copies which proceed to create their own storm copies. The second one would get an extra copy off of the Brain Freeze copy that was cast via Eye of the Storm.)
So, in actuality, I really have three questions:
1.) Are the copies that Eye of the Storm creates cast simultaneously? The ruling in Gatherer ("All chosen copies are cast in the order the player chooses") seems kind of vague.
2.) Would either Brain Freeze copy that's being cast count the other toward its storm count? I'm assuming that the number of storm copies is determined when the spell is announced and put onto the stack, but I'm unsure if either copy actually "sees" the other (or if it would even matter, since storm creates a copy for each spell cast BEFORE it).
3.) In total, how many copies of Brain Freeze would I receive? I want to make sure that I'm not forgetting any copies or inadvertently counting the same one more than once.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
0 storm copies from eye.
Storm : When you cast a spell with storm put a copy of that spell on the stack for each spell cast before it this turn. Eye of the storm copies but does not cast.
also storm count only increases from cast spells. not copied spells.
1- put on the stack in order and resolve backwards.
2-
cast first Brain Freeze (storm 0)
storm count 1
exile as resolve >> eye
play copy. resolve copy Brain Freeze
cast second Brain Freeze. Copy 1 Brain Freeze (storm 1)
storm count 2 resolve storm-copy Brain Freeze
original second Brain Freeze exile >> eye
play copy first Brain Freeze . play copy second Brain Freeze. resolve copy Brain Freeze.
resolve copy Brain Freeze.
3-
Thus total
2 x brain freeze cast 4 x brain freeze resolve
(3 eye (2 first , 1 second) , 1 storm copy)
0 storm copies from eye.
Storm : When you cast a spell with storm ...
Eye of the storm copies but does not cast.
I'm pretty sure it casts the copies.
Quote from Eye of the Storm »
Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery card, exile it. Then that player copies each instant or sorcery card exiled with Eye of the Storm. For each copy, the player may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
1) The ruling in gatherer isn't vague; it means exactly that the chosen copies are cast in the order the player chooses. You would choose the order in which you cast the brain freezes, if you choose to do so. They aren't cast simultaneously, though.
2) Err.. not sure what you're asking here. The spells aren't cast simultaneously; you would cast one brain freeze, storm would trigger, and then you would cast the other, and storm would trigger. So, yes, the storm count would increase before the second brain freeze is cast.

All cards that were exiled with eye of the storm are copied and cast so any ability that triggers off a spell being cast will fire be it storm as in Brain freeze / tendrils of agony or cascade.

I don't see where this milling is coming from... as far as I can tell, there are only 3 Brain Freezes resolving in the turn:
~The original cast on the empty EotS, and
~The second, cast while EotS has one Brain Freeze exiled on it, creates 2 more Brain Freezes to be cast.
The first one cast would see a storm count of 2 (cast before exile, cast from EotS), the second would see a count of 4 (the two shown above, the second actual Brain Freeze cast before exile, and that same Brain Freeze cast from EotS), and the third would see a storm count of 5 (including all those shown above, and itself.)
The first Brain Freeze (with empty EotS) will be exiled and a copy be cast, it will have storm 1 and so will mill for 6.
The second Brain Freeze will have storm 2 and be exiled, so it will mill for 6 (that is the bolded milling) and create a copy for both Brain Freezes. Theses will mill for 12 and 15.
6+6+12+15 = 39 Cards.
So, the second Freeze mills both on casting and resolution? o.O
It doesn't resolve, and then go to exile. It's exiled when it's cast, so it will only resolve "once"; as compared to the first Brain Freeze of the turn, which resolves "twice" (once for each spell cast).

Yes, but the Storm trigger for that second Brain Freeze will still trigger off the original casting, and trigger again when Eye of the Storm allows a copy of it to be cast.

Wow... can't believe I missed something that simple. ^^;;
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the clarification.

Thank you in advance, knowledgeable players!

It does cast the copies.
The copies are created simultaneously, but you choose the order they are placed on the stack.

3) Let's do the math!
Cast Brain Freeze(1) Storm 1
Eye exiles Brain Freeze(1)
Cast Brain Freeze(1) >> (1 original & 1 copy, Mill 6) Storm 2
Cast Brain Freeze(2) Storm 3
(original is exiled & 2 copies, Mill 6)
Eye exiles Brain Freeze(2)
Cast Brain Freeze (1) >> (1 original & 3 copies, Mill 12) Storm 4
Cast Brain Freeze (2) >> (1 original & 4 copies, Mill 15) Storm 5
So in total, milling 39 cards? Anyone care to confirm my math?
This is my first time dealing with Eye of the Storm, but I think this is right.
Agreed.
yup and thus 6+6+12+15 milled = 39 cards

Ah, thank you. That's the same number I got.
thats crazy rediculous..
So does this work with ANY storm card? say Tendrils or something? If its the same, then it storms about....5 times?

Storm Count 2: 6 cards

Storm Count 5: 15 cards
6 + 12 + 15 = 33 cards. Unless I'm just missing where the bolded milling takes place.
