A quick question regarding removing a creature from the game.
Under the old rules a creature removed from the game (due to Swords to Plowshares for example) it went to graveyard for a very short moment to trigger any abilities (e.g. Earthlink ).
Under new rules (6th editon and further) this seems to have changes. Is that right?

Tokens will go to the graveyard (and trigger any leave play abilities) before they ceist to exist. So yes, the ability will trigger.

Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.
I do have a follow up on that regarding the token...
I have a Deathgreeter outside and my opponent is attacking me with a 1/1 Goblin token from Goblin Assault.
I block with a 2/2 creature and kill his Goblin...Do I get 1 life or are tokens automatically removed as well?
Thanks for asking that man, I was wondering that myself. I had always believed tokens took a quick trip to the yard, then were removed, but until now I wasn't sure.

Just to be clear: Tokens are not 'removed from the game' unless something specific does it to them. A token in any zone other than in-play simply ceases to exist.
