If for some reason you were possessed to draft triple Dragon's Maze at FNM this Friday Night (as my FLGS is doing) what is the rule about the Shocklands?
When Zendikar came out they added a rule about getting cards from other sets in a pack which wouldn't seem to apply if you draft DGR since the shocks are from G or R but in this corner case what would they do? Or did they update the rule?
I'm going to look it up too but since you guys are so great here I thought I'd toss it up and see if I get a quick response.

Exception: Nonbasic lands from the Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash expansions opened in Dragon’s Maze boosters are allowed in Limited formats using Dragon’s Maze cards.

The MTR has been updated effective May 3 to include an exception for Dragon's Maze, which allows you to draft the shocklands that come in the boosters and include them in your card pool.

The rule you cite is intended to deal with you accidentally receiving cards that aren't supposed to be part of the Limited environment--for whatever reason. The Shocklands are supposed to be part of the DGM Limited environment, so that rule doesn't apply to them.
The MTR may or may not properly reflect that reality right now, but if not it's the rules that are wrong.

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.
