I'm making a manifest deck. If I used cold storage to exile a manifested creature, it goes into exile face up. My question is, if it's actually an enchantment or artifact, will the permanent come back into play, or since the errata says "put all creatures exiled..." Do the enchantments or artifacts just stay exiled permanently? Or should all permanent exile come back into play wether or not they are creatures.

Because of the specific way Cold Storage is worded, only actual creature cards will be put on the battlefield. This is quite unusual for effects that exile creatures and can return them to the battlefield, most of those cards won't care about card type on the exit as long as it's a permanent card, but Cold Storage really does check that.
