So it's known that permanents don't get double double strike, dbl lifelink, and/or 2X Flying. Though keywords abilities like absorb, exhalted and Toxic DO stack.
Curious if and one has an easy link/list to show the stackers VS nonstackers?
Well, an object can have multiples of a redundant ability. It's just that, since it is redundant, you don't get an additional effect. For most redundant abilities, you just have to look at what they do and how they work within the rules, to realize, that multiples won't do anything more. Double strike invokes the rules for a second combat step, doing that multiple times is pointless. Lifelink, infect, and wither invoke certain rules for damage results, doing so several times is pointless. Flying is a blocking restriction simply stating, that a blocker has to have flying or reach to block; doesn't matter how often that is stated. Etc. Otoh, triggered abilities use the stack and do their thing every time they resolve. So bushido, flanking, exalted, etc. are cumulative. Toxic is a wierd one, as it also invokes a rule for damage results, but that rule gives poison counters based on toxic values, which are cummulative.
The easiest way, I think, to determine wether an ability is cummulative or redundant is to look them up in the Comp Rules rules 702., where all keyword abilities are listed, each redundant one with its own reminder subrule stating such.
E.g.
702.3. Defender
702.3a Defender is a static ability.
702.3b A creature with defender can’t attack.
702.3c Multiple instances of defender on the same creature are redundant.
