First question is, does Ydris have any modifiers at all while the Kenrith's Transformation is attached to him? i.e. would he get the p/t boost from Blackblade, still?
Second question is, my.opponent then Chaos Warped the Kenrith's Transformation, all above mentioned enchantments/equipment are still attached, what modifiers does Ydris have at that point?
All gain ability and lose ability effects are applied in layer 6. In time stamp order if there is no dependency, which here there is none. So you make Yidris lose all abilities he had before the Transformation entered the battlefield. Those are Yidris original abilities as well as annihilator and trample from the Conscription, the indestructible, the double strike, and the Umbra's attack trigger ability. It does not remove the power/toughness alterations, which are applied in layer 7 (and its sublayers). Base power/toughness comes first, so its 3/3 as per the Transformation. Then comes the rest. So Yidris is still a hefty 15/15 plus whatever the Blackblade adds to that. If the Transformation gets removed, he gets all those abilities back as well as getting slightly buffer since his own base power/tougnness are higher than the 3/3 from the Transformation.
So just to be sure, it doesn’t work the same way as Humility or Overwhelming Splendor in that the abilities can come back after the enchantment is removed?
