If I control Kaito, Dancing Shadow, attack with three (or more) unblocked creatures, and (only) one of them has both ninjutsu and first strike or double strike (ie: blade-blizzard kitsune), can I return it to the hand after it deals damage, then ninjutsu it back into play (returning another attacking creature) before the regular damage step? If so, will the kitsune deal damage to the opponent twice upon re-entry (after the damage it dealt initially before being returned to the hand), or would it not create/insert another (first strike) damage step before any remaining attacking creatures deal their (regular) combat damage to the player (or planeswalker) they're attacking?
There are only ever at most two combat damage steps per combat phase: the first strike damage step, and the normal one for everything else. In the first combat damage step, your first striking ninja deals combat damage to the defending player, triggering Kaito, which lets you return it to your hand. You can now, still in the same combat damage step, ninjutu the ninja back to the field via one of your other unblocked attackers. The ninja will be a new attacker, that hasn't dealt combat damage yet, so it gets to do so in the normal combat damage step along with the other (not returned by ninjutsu) unblocked attacker, triggering Kaito again. This only works, if you do it in the first combat damage step, since the first thing in a combat damage step is assigning and dealing combat damage, with no window to act before that during the step. The only benefit of doing all this will be the return of one of your attackers, since you already got the twice per turn loyalty activation effect.
I wasn't sure if the new ninja still dealt damage (again) before the other attackers, and perhaps allowed for some weird exploit where that newly ninjutsued double striker would push/delay the other attackers' damage to the "last damage step" since three-headed goblin and hat trick exist which indicates there could potentially be a third damage step in such corner cases (for creatures who will strike/deal their damage last), even when not playing with un-cards.

Nope, a "third damage step" is strictly the domain of un-cards.

Why bother with mere rulings when so many answers can be found in the Rules?

510.4. If at least one attacking or blocking creature has first strike (see rule 702.7) or double strike (see rule 702.4) as the combat damage step begins, the only creatures that assign combat damage in that step are those with first strike or double strike. After that step, instead of proceeding to the end of combat step, the phase gets a second combat damage step. The only creatures that assign combat damage in that step are the remaining attackers and blockers that had neither first strike nor double strike as the first combat damage step began, as well as the remaining attackers and blockers that currently have double strike. After that step, the phase proceeds to the end of combat step.
Is the rule that sets up the damage step with first strike/double strike.
