Just wondering how something like Glasspool Mimic has to exist inside the library of a Yuriko, The Tiger's Shadow deck? In order to have it deal damage equal to CMC when revealed with the triggered ability.
In the library, a modal double-faced card's characteristics are considered to be just the ones of its front face. (CR 712.4a) In this instance, that card's mana cost will identify as 2U, so its mana value will come up as 3 in applying that part of Yuriko's effect.
Note that Yuriko's ability causes loss of life, and does not cause anything to deal damage.

Thanks for the reply. So I don't "HAVE" to have it as the land side while its in the library?

I think you have that slightly wrong. You CAN'T have it showing the land side when its in your library, it has to be face up as Glasspool Mimic in any zone besides the battlefield.
The "front" side of an MDFC is the one with the black triangle in the upper-left, the backside has two white triangles like Glasspool Shore. If a card in your library has the white triangle face showing instead of the black one, then its technically illegal, and needs to be treated as the other face.
If it's in an opaque sleeve, it doesn't matter how you leave it, and the January 25th document of the MTR has no provision about this either; it's more concerned that you do not mix checklist cards and the real DFCs for each card name.
Players can examine either face of a double-faced card at any time if they have normal conditions for seeing the card's face. The rule I quoted above is a statement of what values the object in a specific game zone is considered to have and not have. The term "front face" is also technically defined. For each set of double-faced cards, they have an indicator in the top left, and this indicator (plus the subrules at CR712.1) tells you which face is the front and which is the back.
While in your library, everything in the game sees Glasspool Mimic // Glasspool Shore as if it was just Glasspool Mimic.

In general, you may insert an opaque sleeve on a double-faced card so that only the back face of that card shows. Nothing in the comprehensive rules or the Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules disallows this (for sanctioned tournaments, review M.T.R. 3.10).
Remember, though, that inserting a sleeve on a double-faced card to show the back face rather than the front face doesn't change how that card is seen by the game, and that any player that can look at a double-faced card can look at both its faces (C.R. 712.2). For example, a double-faced card in your library or your hand has only the front face's characteristics (C.R. 712.4a), even if—
you inserted an opaque sleeve on that card to show only its back face, or
you don't intend to play or cast the front face of that card (in the case of a modal double-faced card).
Note that Yuriko's ability causes loss of life, and does not cause anything to deal damage.
