I am playing with a friend and we ran into a situation dealing with order of play. I had Dauthi Voidwalker on the field and untapped, he plays All is dust. Am I able to tap and sac Dauthi Voidwalker in response to All is dust to trigger his ability, or does All is dust clear Dauthi Voidwalker before I could activate its ability? Thanks!
You can activate Dauthi Voidwalker's last ability in response to All Is Dust (just as you can do so in response to any other spell). However, the ability will go on the stack above All Is Dust and get to resolve before that spell, so that when it resolves you must choose "an exiled card an opponent owns in exile with a void counter on it" right then and there, before All Is Dust has resolved yet.
Also, note that Dauthi Voidwalker has no triggered abilities (an ability that begins with "if" is not a triggered ability) (review C.R. 603.1).
However, if you don’t activate Dauthi Voidwalker then and let it get sacrificed to All is Dust, then it’s graveyard hate ability will exile all appropriate cards your opponents had with void counters too. Thus if you get Voidwalker back or play new one, then you can possibly play one of these removed cards.
