Let's say I have 2 or more cards that blink permanents (exiles then returns) such as Soulherder, Conjurer's Closet. Do I choose a target for each at the beginning of End Phase when these go on the stack and if that is the case, that would mean I can't target the same creature to blink, right?
Example:
I have Soulherder and Conjurer's Closet in play along with some creature with an ETB ability, lets just say Agent of Treachery. End Phase begins and Soulherder goes on the stack first, and Conjurer's Closet goes on the stack second and I choose to blink Agent of Treachery both times. The Closet resolves and the Agents blinks and comes back and I steal an opponents permanent. Then Soulherder's ability tries to resolve but can't because it not longer sees my Agent. Is this correct? I believe would have to blink two different target creatures in this instance, or can I target the Agent twice and steal two permanents?
Yes. All "at the beginning of the end step" triggers go on the stack at the same time, and if they require targets, those targets have to be chosen at that time. If a target leaves and is returned, it is no longer the same object and anything targeting the old one won't find it anymore.
