I'm wondering how Imps like Nettling Imp and Norritt interact with creatures with tap abilities. Specifically Krenko, Mob Boss - because I hate that dude!!
Can I ever force Krenko to attack, or does he always get to tap for goblins? Like, lets say everything has been on the battlefield a full round and all and then it goes to the Krenko players turn. If I tap my Nettling Imp to force his Krenko, Mob Boss to attack they can just tap Krenko in response?
What if it happens the other way around - they go to Tap Krenko, and in response I tap Nettling Imp to try to force it to attack instead
Can I make a creature with a tap ability attack instead of using it's tap ability as long as I put the ability on stack right?

Yes, your opponent can activate Krenko's ability in response to Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability if they target Krenko (which is necessarily possible because the latter two abilities target only a "non-Wall creature the active player has controlled continuously since the beginning of the turn"). However, if Krenko is tapped, it can't attack, so that it won't be "able" to attack for the purposes of Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability.
What if it happens the other way around - they go to Tap Krenko, and in response I tap Nettling Imp to try to force it to attack instead
If your opponent taps Krenko to pay for its ability, you can activate Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability in response to that ability, since it can target any "non-Wall creature the active player has controlled continuously since the beginning of the turn", whether that creature is tapped or not. And when that ability resolves, the creature "attacks this turn if able" and is "[d]estroy[ed] ... at the beginning of the next end step if it didn't attack this turn", regardless of whether that creature is tapped. However, activating that ability in response to Krenko's ability won't undo the latter ability or untap Krenko.
Can I make a creature with a tap ability attack instead of using it's tap ability as long as I put the ability on stack right?
So I cannot tap my Nettling Imp in response to the opposing player tapping Krenko.
In essence I can never force a creature with a tap ability to attack and/or destroy it with Nettling imp?
Edit: just saw your edits...
So, basically I can tap nettling imp in response to krenko, mob boss activating it's ability - Krenko will create the goblins, but then be destroyed due to it's not attacking

Yes, they can easily tap Krenko in response (or even after your ability resolves).
AP's upkeep step begins.
AP gets priority and passes.
You get priority and activate the "T: Choose target non-Wall creature the active player has controlled continuously since the beginning of the turn. That creature attacks this turn if able. Destroy it at the beginning of the next end step if it didn't attack this turn. Activate this ability only during an opponent's turn, before attackers are declared." ability of Nettling Imp. You choose Krenko as the target, and pay the cost by tapping Nettling Imp.
You get priority and pass.
AP gets priority and activates the "T: Create X 1/1 red Goblin creature tokens, where X is the number of Goblins you control." ability of Krenko, Mob Boss. AP pays the cost by tapping Krenko, Mob Boss.
AP gets priority and passes.
You get priority and pass.
The top object on the stack (the ability activated in step 5) resolves. AP creates some 1/1 red Goblin creature tokens as indicated.
AP gets priority and passes.
You get priority and pass.
The top object on the stack (the ability activated in step 3) resolves. It sets up an attack requirement, but the tapped Krenko won't be able to attack. It also sets up a delayed triggered ability that will probably destroy Krenko during the end step. If Krenko later untaps somehow, your ability will not interfere with activating its ability again.
So I cannot tap my Nettling Imp in response to the opposing player tapping Krenko.
In essence I can never force a creature with a tap ability to attack and/or destroy it with Nettling imp?
No, you can't prevent Krenko's controller from activating Krenko's ability (and tapping Krenko to pay for that ability) by activating Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability targeting Krenko (assuming an opponent of yours controls Krenko). You can still do so in response to Krenko's ability (not in response to the opponent tapping Krenko), but doing so won't counter Krenko's ability or untap Krenko. Compare, for example, Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability with Teferi's Response or Interdict.
So I cannot tap my Nettling Imp in response to the opposing player tapping Krenko.
You can absolutely activate Nettling Imp's or Norritt's ability while Krenko's ability is on the stack. The target specification does not specify "untapped" or anything else like that.
In essence I can never force a creature with a tap ability to attack and/or destroy it with Nettling imp?
If it's already tapped (perhaps due to paying the cost of its ability) when the time comes to declare attackers, it can't attack. If it can't attack, then it doesn't attack. If it doesn't attack, the "if it didn't attack this turn" condition will be met when the delayed trigger happens during the end step. It will be destroyed.

Yes, they can easily tap Krenko in response (or even after your ability resolves).
There is no "go to Tap". While activating the ability, Krenko taps in order to pay the cost. Nettling Imp doesn't even try to interfere with this.
No.
