Band together the way i read it, its working as (up to) 2 copies of rabid Bite. So 2 creatures deal their damage to another creature each. So 2 different (attacked) targets are possible. The name of the card suggests, it has to be the same target though. (but it doesnt say "to the same target")
You choose the appropriate number of targets for each instance of the word "target". The spell has one, two or three targets: zero, one or two of your creatures, and one other creature. So no matter how many of your creatures you target, you only get to target one that they then all will deal damage to.
ok thanks, can you explain why it works this way though? becaus i really stumble over the term "each"
Up to two target creatures you control each deal damage equal to their power to another target creature. only one target, ok fine.
Up to two target creatures you control each deal damage equal to their power to another target creature. Still reads to me. Creature1 can deal damage to another creature, as can creature2 (with its own new target), but they cant deal damage to another.

In that case, the word "another" on Band Together can be ambiguous. Here, "another target creature" means "target creature other than those creatures". But recall that under C.R. 601.2c, "if [a] spell uses the word 'target' in multiple places" (here, in "[u]p to two target creatures you control" and "another target creature"), "the same object or player can be chosen once for each instance of the word 'target' (as long as it fits the targeting criteria)". In the case of "another target creature" on Band Together, the targeting criteria include "another", where the intent of the spell is "other than the up to two creatures already mentioned".
To better reflect the intent of Band Together, that spell would have to say, for example, "Choose up to two target creatures you control and another target creature. The former creatures each deal damage equal to their power to the latter creature."
To better reflect the intent that the creatures each deal damage to a separately targeted creature, Band Together would have to say, for example, "Choose up to two target creatures you control. For each creature chosen this way, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature other than that creature."
